"So are you all less likely to kill me now?" I spoke up unfreezing all six of them stepping back to see what happened next.
"Still thinking about it," Diego said making me scoff.
"Good to see you too Diego." They were all groaning shaking there heads. Hm, not the reaction I was expecting. At least not to this extent.
"It's like have a bad hangover. You know the kind that makes you vomit." Klaus murmured out almost sounding confused.
"So are your past selves kicked out or are they still lingering?"
"Just our future selves. I think." Allison said sighing afterwards leaning forward and covering her eyes with her hands.
"I'll be on my merry way then." Five warped in front of me.
"You're not going anywhere. This group of morons can't keep their shit together so I'll need." He paused making my eyebrow raise.
"Uh, rude." Klaus called from behind us.
"If you're trying to ask for help then you'll have to ask for it or I'll be leaving." Waiting a few seconds he didn't say anything. Taking one last mouthful of coffee I stood straight. "Well it wasn't so nice meeting you all and I'm happy to leave have fun peanut gallery." Walking back down the stairs there was a part of me that wanted to stay. This is the first group of people that know who I am and haven't tried to kill me. Other than my brief encounter with Hazel. But it's better that I'm alone. To my surprise, Five warped in front of me again before I could open the front door.
"Fine, I need your help. You're smart. Probably the only person in this room that knows enough about the timeline to help fix it." I smirked at him making him frown just a small amount.
"That's more like it."
"Yay kiss." Klaus said clapping at the top of the stairs. I turned zipping back up the stairs.
"Don't say stupid things like that. People might think you're an idiot." Klaus made a funny face at the wall making my eyes roll.
"What did we talk about the first time again?" Allison asked and it was silent for a moment for them all to think. I took a seat on the couch starting to play around with my watch.
"About the assassination of Kennedy." Diego quickly said.
"Wow, no wonder you remember. Little fanboy." Diego growled and I smiled down at my finger nails picking at the dirt under them.
"Look all we need to do is stay away from dad but we also need to make sure the handler dies or else who knows what will happen when we get back. So we need to make sure certain things still happen."
"Well, Luther has his temper tantrum," Diego said. I snorted.
"And I had a little meeting with the handler." Five looked down at the floor for a moment.
"Oh and we got tacos." Klaus said gesturing to Vanya and Allison. "God I'd love some tacos right now."
"Will you all focus, later today dad asks us for a light super."
"Light super?" I murmured to myself Raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"We have to avoid any consultation. We can't go to this or anything to do with him. Now I have to go. (Y/n)s in charge." And he warped away.
"Wha.... how come she's the one." Luther was cut off by Diego.
"You're only angry because you're number one." This is giving me a headache. Not to mention this sweater is making me so hot.
"Right stop the petty fight. Luther Diego you go have your bro talk and get the letter from dear old dad. Either way, he'll end up giving it to you." Luther and Diego left and so I turned to the rest of them.
"Anything important happening to you all today other than tacos?"
"We face our fears," Klaus spoke putting a hand to his heart making my eyebrow raise.
"I told sissy I wanted to run away with her" Vanya breathed out beside me.
"And I told my husband everything. Klaus faces his cult." Clicking my tongue I let out a long breath.
"You'll have to do that all again." Klaus let out a groan flopping back against the couch.
"I have to do it all again?" Rolling my eyes I stood up.
"Just got and get your tacos. I'm going to get some different clothes."
.....
All seven of us plus Elliott sat around in his living room. I was eating an ice cream I'd gotten before coming back here.
"So what do we do now?" Klaus asked drinking from his flask of whatever it was.
"This all feels like shit even the second time around," Vanya said and got mutual nods.
"If we want him to get off our scent then someone will need to meet up with dad." I tilted my head over to five who was staring at me and soon everyone's eyes followed.
"I'm not an actress." I bluntly said looking at my ice cream ignoring the stares I was getting.
"You're the only one here who won't make him suspicious." Grumbling in response I looked over at Elliott.
"Elliott could do it. As long as he doesn't shit himself that is." Whispering the last part out Elliott shook his head not saying anything.
"If you could convince him that we're a secret organisation or something along those lines without mentioning time travel then he might drop the whole idea together." Sighing as Five talked I licked the side of the ice cream so it didn't drip down the cone.
"I hope you know the amount you owe me is the size of two Luthers."
....
The elevator taking me up to the top floor was going too fast for my liking. Acting is not my forte. Normally I use force and freeze people and either kill them or getaway. Not try to convince a smart man the six people who have been calling him father was some sort of test or joke. The elevator binged and I fixed my blazer. Damn my moral compass.
