"What makes you think I'm going to drive around with the loony bin to find out what happened to your precious timeline?" He wasn't fazed by what I said and clicked his tongue.
"Because people with a moral compass such as yourself tend to help the less unfortunate. That and I have no other options." I stared at him with shock and quickly punched him in the lip. "Ouch shit." He hissed and I glared at him grabbing my bag.
"Ok little pea brain we've had our little chat. My moral compass is staying alive and the less unfortunate in this case are lead by a shorts wearing, coffee addict that whines like a child when he doesn't get his way. Now I'm leaving, don't bother me again." Walking out the door to the shitty motel his siblings were standing out there. "Step aside before I make you." Luthe, the only one I know the name of eyes went wide as he did. Smiling shortly before glaring ahead of me I walked away to find some new clothes.
....
I have no idea where the group of Mobius assassins came from but I have to wait a full day before I'm able to go anywhere. Away from these annoying people who for some reason think they can sneak around without me knowing. I'd been walking around a shopping mall when I felt preppy boy near me. I glared looking up to see him with hippy Jesus. Waving my hand I made a bunch of glasses fall off the rack they were near. Hippy got blamed and I went on my way out of the store. Freezing all the employees along with moving a piece of paper over the security camera. Walking out with no trouble I took out a bar to eat as I walked along the busy streets. Unfreezing the store once far enough the group was still following me. Sighing when sitting down at a cafe and ordering a coffee the door opened. It wasn't who I was excepting. She walked right over when seeing me.
"Hi can I had a seat?" Lifting my hand lazily she took a seat. "I'm Allison, from the peanut gallery or the loony bin as you put it." She smiled kindly holding out a hand for me to shake, of course, I didn't. Only raised an eyebrow.
"I know and you've been following me since the motel." She went to say something but shut her mouth for a moment while I took a gulp of the coffee.
"Yes well." I stopped her from talking and leant forward.
"You're not going to convince me to help. Trouble is always found with those who mess with the timeline." Allison bit her lip looking down for a moment.
"And you're the one who can help us fix the timeline. We could help each other." That made me let out a short breathless laugh. What on earth are they playing at? I'm not some stupid gullible person. How would I have survived this long otherwise?
"No one can help me. The moment you're marked is the moment you're dead. I've been fighting death long enough to know being with others only kills them." Taking another mouthful of coffee I could hear as she sighed.
"Don't make me do this." Raising an eyebrow I froze her on the spot.
"I won't let you. Let me drink my coffee." I made her walk out. Somewhat normal but she looked straight ahead while doing so. It was another few minutes when the preppy boy came in. "Is it so hard to leave me alone for ten minutes?" He also had a coffee, the second I saw him have today. Glancing to my watch it was still nowhere close to the time I could leave.
"You knew we were following. Tell me how." Scoffing I looked off to the side watching as another coffee was being made.
"I don't owe you an explanation." But then I sighed for some reason I thought this might get him to leave or maybe I'm an idiot. "My ability, I can sense every breath people take, know how far they are, gender, height and if they're following me." He nodded drinking his coffee. His lips went to a thin line for a moment.
"Which is why you knew Klaus was lying." Hippy Jesus has a name. Nodding shortly after he hummed staring at me intently. "I may have underestimated you." Cocking an eyebrow at him I sat back crossing my arms. Which was when a waitress came walking over.
"Is there anything else the two lovebirds would like?" She was an older woman late 40s who seems to not know how to mind her own business.
"Keep on walking lady." When he looked back I was gone and opening the door. Hearing him sigh he grabbed the handle from me.
"What is it honey bun I was just going to get my wallet from the car." Smiling I then glared forcing the door open. The rest of the group was across the road staring as I walked out. Raising my middle finger I turned about to walk off but something court my eye. They found me and so quickly. At most it takes three or four days, this is a crowded place it's not likely they'll attack.
"What happened to the storm off?" His hands were in his pockets looking off to where I was.
"They found you." I glared grabbing his sweater pulling him across the road to his family.
"Get your fucking hands off of me." Tossing him against the truck they had I frowned.
"Look I'm doing this so you guys get the hint. You've been targeted, not just by one person but an entire organisation. You fucked up the timeline they'll end you."
"Which is why you should help us." I raised a finger up at the shorter girl shaking my head.
"It would be hard enough to work out the exact time and location you stuffed up. Not to mention getting close to your past selves but you're walking around with a larger target on your heads than I have." They were closing in, thirty of them. Now would be a perfect time to leave. Getting away would be easier on my own and yet... I grit my teeth. "Everyone get in the fucking car."
