"Thanks for holding that for me." I grabbed my bag from the boy and turned to hippy Jesus. "Hey, you know where the kitchen is? I haven't eaten in two days." Seems that every time I try people get in the way. He looked to his siblings and the rest of the froze people.
"Are they joining us or...." the five other siblings lightly floated in the air. "This way I guess." Smiling shortly for him to walk ahead of me down the stairs to a lower level.
"So can you like freeze time or something?" He whispered looking at me. I raised an eyebrow seeing him looking at the conga line behind me."Just control mass meaning anything I choose basically." He jumped down the last step and we went through a doorway. It was still morning, the kitchen was empty and clean.
"And the." He made a bow and arrow stance with his hands. "Whapa!" Hippy Jesus finished making me lightly smile to myself although I wouldn't let him see.
"Solidified mass. I can change the shape to whatever I want." There was a bang behind me, white hulk hit the doorframe "watch your head." I chuckled now seeing the kitchen in view. Immediately going to the fridge I found some leftovers. It was getting harder to hold everyone in place. Hippy Jesus was murmuring something to the group behind me. Shoving the plate into the microwave I sighed leaning against the bench.
"And the slightly big clothes. Although I do love the burnt orange coat but it's a little." His cheeks puffed up and I raised an eyebrow at him before looking down at my clothes.
"Yeah well, I wasn't this age before I travelled here. I was 29 before." His body turned to the frozen preppy boy with a raised brow.
"Surprisingly that's not the first time I've heard that. Now if you stop strangling my family we can tell you how to fix this age problem." His elbow hit the table as I took a bite of the heated chicken sandwich. Squinting my way through the six of them I sighed.
"You're not gonna convince me that way. All of you are the same age. About 34 or something apart from preppy boy over there so he's been mixed up in the bitch time travel. But since he still looks young you don't know how to reverse the effects." He groaned standing back up before flopping around a little. "All that along with I know when people are lying" I took another bite.
"Come on please. I'll give you Devine wisdom. " I almost choked on the sandwich as I swallowed.
"Devine wha.... just please stop all I want right now is to eat in peace and then I'll leave. You and the peanut gallery can do whatever you want when I'm gone." Filling my drink bottle with tap water I had another bite. The effects were starting to wear off, another one had to be let loose. But which one.
"You don't look so hot. Had an off chocolate milk or something?"
"Yeah along with some bad Yogurt. I'm fine." Letting white hulk free his feet hit the floor with a thud.
"Jesus!" Hippy Jesus said as his brother dropped next to him.
" why'd you let me go?"
"You weighed the most." My bluntness made him frown slightly. "No offence."
"How is that not offensive?" Scoffing I rolled my eyes finishing my sandwich.
"It's a fact not an opinion." I breathed out grabbing a bunch of other food putting it in my backpack.
"You can't take that." It was a pathetic warning that made my eyes roll once more while I started at him storing a few health bars into the bag.
"I can and will. Would you prefer I take something from the store down the street?" We both had a stare down for a moment.
"How about... get this. Luther here won't say anything about you taking your juice boxes and you let go of everyone here." My hands were beginning to shake. I'll blackout at this rate. Not even responding I let go of the hold of everyone in the room. A knife was thrown my way and hit the shield I had up.
"Diego!" Ignoring the group I started walking towards the door.
"We're not finished talking yet." The preppy boy said with a hand to my shoulder.
"Yes, we are." At that moment the hold on the rest of the household broke. "Shit." I breathed feeling myself lose consciousness right after.
This has only happened a few times in my life. The first time was after the death of my parents. The second when I discovered how to move myself around a room at 90 kilometres an hour and the last today when I stopped a fifty story building from crushing hundreds of people to death. Each other time I was in a safe location but not now. At least that's what I believed until waking up in a motel groaning.
"Good you're awake." Glaring at the boy I rolled over to face the other way. But he was then in front of me once more, I noticed a coffee in his hand.
"Go away before I snap your neck you little prick." He went to grab me with one hand and did but I made no fuss about it. He's stronger than he looks.
"Listen here and listen well. You're going to tell me everything you know or I'll pluck your eyes out. From what I saw you pass out after half an hour of using your powers. You're pathetic." His body froze and I sighed.
"That would be because I stopped a fifty story building from toppling over a street full of people. That tends to tire me out." groaning this out while also grabbing the coffee from his hand I took a large gulp. "God I needed that." Looking around the room seeing my bag scattered across the bed beside the one I was sleeping on the contents flowed back into its place. "So your siblings aren't at the hotel. Where are they now?" Unfreezing his body he warped taking the coffee back.
"Finding transportation."
