"I can't even begin to tell you how I feel right now."

"Good. I don't care to know."

*swoosh*

The breeze was cool in the midst of a warm, but pleasant afternoon. The location is the duchy of the noble house of Calagan. A grand mansion dating back from the beginning of the empire's rise.

Bricks of copper and gold built the five-story chateau that was the estate of the duke of Calagan. Surrounded by Obelia's protected lands of greens and wildlife.

The gardens were far and wide, and full of all kinds of flowers. The one by the far north of the estate was one particularly grand. It flourished with beautiful blues and violets of irises, giving the nearby stream of a small river hues of blues and pinks.

In the middle of it were children that gave music to the air along with the singing birds. Their laughters were merry and they moved with the wind as they played.

Boys, girls, and adults who watched over them from a safe distance.

Even the smell of the sweets and the honey milk's aroma filled the space and reached up above on the high branches of the big, ginko trees, right where two men sat idly by, watching the scene below them.

"Explain to me one more time why she's down there playing best friends with the chimera."

"After you've explained why you're here. Don't leave my daughter alone."

     "It's for safety reasons."

     "Whose safety?"

     "Mine, of course

     "Mine, of course."

"You must have done something foolish to upset her enough that you'd run away. Heh."

"Did you scoff? Did you? Foolish is how you've lost control of your own plans. So what is happening with this setting here?"

His golden hair fluttered with the wind when he tilted his head back, stretching his neck with his hand. He sighed ever so deeply, scowling sideways at the raven haired man beside him.
