Chapter 4 - Detention

"Harry, I don't see your parents." Parker shook her head.

Erica looked at the writing on the top of the mirror and read it out,"Erised stra ebru oyt I've cafru oyt on woshi."

"What?" Ron asked.

"I show not your face, but your hearts desire." Parker translated it for him.

"It's backwards Ron." Erica explained further.

"Good, I thought you became possessed!" Ron informed them, still a bit confused.

"So you see your parents, Harry?" Parker asked.

Harry nodded.

"So that means his true desire is to see his parents. What do you see Ron?" Erica asked.

"I see.. Me as head boy! And quidditch captain." Ron smiled.

"Hate to break it to you Ron but... That might stay your heart's desire." Erica told him, patting his shoulder.

"Shove off." Ron pushed her, "What do you see then?"

"Riding a dragon." Erica told him simply.

"Thats it?" Ron raised a brow.

"Yeah, Parker?" Erica asked her friend.

Parker looked at the mirror, tilting her head slightly.

"A man. Leaving a baby at my parents door." She said, quite confused.

"What does the man look like?" Erica asked her.

"Black ish hair. More brown than black though. His hairs just passed his shoulders. Quite well dressed. Sad.. To see the baby go to my parents." Parker described the man.

"He sounds... Familiar." I'll look into it for you." Erica chirped, writing something down on a sticky note.

"It makes no sense anyway." Parker shook her head.

"The heart wants what the heart wants." Erica told her, putting the nite in her pocket,"Now, the restricted section?

"Filch is searching the place. We can't risk going back. I did.. I did see Snape and Quirrel there." Harry told them.

"I'm assuming you didn't find anything useful in there, did you?" Ron questioned, hands in his pockets.

"Not really." Harry sighed.

"We can try another day." Parker told them.

"Alright then, bed time it is." Erica agreed.

"We'll see you guys later." Parker waved.

Both girls said their goodbyes to the boys before heading to their separate rooms.

It had been a week or two since they saw the Mirror of Erised and Christmas break was over.

"So remind me again, why are we going to Hagrids?" Parker asked while they walked out of Hogwarts.

"Yeah, it's getting dark outside." Erica added, looking at the sun.

"A few days ago, he told us things. Now, we're going to go find out what he meant." Ron shrugged.

"But near lights out?" Hermione questioned.

"We had to come when no one was going to be around." Harry said.

"Makes sense, I guess." Erica stated, pushing her glasses up.

Soon enough they got to Hagrid's Hut. Knocking on the door. After about a minute later, Hagrid opened the door.

"Oh, you're here. Come in." Hagrid invited them in.
