Erica stepped onto the platform with her two daughters and looked around for the others.

"Can you two see them?" Erica asked, resting a hand on each of their shoulders.

They both shook their heads, "Not yet."

"Excited?" She tilted her head, looking at Cedar, her oldest.

"Very." Cedar nodded with a small smile.

Phoenix clung to her older sister's hand, she'd always been rather clingy and quiet.

"You'll be fine without me there." Ceder assured her younger sister, "You'll have mum."

"Besides, we're going back to Uncle Charlie to see the dragons. Mummy has to work there for a few months again." Erica patted her daughter's head.

"And I'll be sending owls as much as I can. If that's okay with you?" Ceder asked Erica.

"Write all you want. I can see just fine with one eye." Erica joked, refering to her right eye which had a dragon claw scar over it.

"You look like Madeye with it." Her older brother's voice came from behind her, Hermione, Hugo and Rose with them.

"I'll take that as a compliment, he was a great wizard." Erica crossed her arms, looking at her brother.

"That we can agree on." Hermione nodded, "Have you seen the others?"

"Not yet." Erica told them before pointing,"Look, it's the Boy who Lived."

"I thought I told you all to stop calling me that." Harry sighed while he walked up with his sons and Lily.

"It's a joke Harry." Erica chuckled as Phoenix hid behind her.

"I don't bite. You know that Phoenix." Harry crouched down to her height before asking Erica, "Still the same?"

"We've been trying but progress comes in time." Eric placed her hand on Phoenix's back.

"I understand." Harry nodded, "Still no sign of Parker and Draco?"

"They're always late, you know that." Ginny sighed.

"Erica, how close were you to the dragons?" Ron asked, refering to the burn on her neck.

"He was feisty. I had to make sure he was bandaged correctly." Erica rolled her eyes.

"You need to be careful or you'll end up dead one of these days." Hermione sighed.

"I was as careful as I could be. Even under controlled circumstances, dragons can be unpredictable." Erica shrugged.

"There." Phoenix pointed, still hiding.

"What?" Ceder looked at her sister.

"It's the others." Phoenix told her, revealing more of herself.

Draco walked in with Astoria and Scorpius, in a suit like always. Parker also walked in with Matteo and Trixie, they soon all walked over to the Herd.

"Is Hufflepuff a bad house?" Trixie immediately asked Erica when they walked up.

"Of course it isn't." Erica assured her before listing off reasons for its greatness,"I was a Hufflepuff, most of them are nice, they're always willing to help and the common room is right next to the kitchen."

"Mum and Uncle Draco said I behave way too much like you when you were younger. They think I'll be in Hufflepuff." Trixie crossed her arms.

"No, she wants to be in Hufflepuff. She loves everything to do with it." Parker corrected.

"I mean, you do. Just wait until the insomnia and nightmares kick in." Erica joked, playing around with Fred's scarf around her neck.

"What?" Trixie asked.

"She's joking." Matteo whispered, "I think."

"Maybe you'll be fine, just my personal experience. Anyway, here you are, as promised." Erica handed the twins maps of the passage ways.

The twins took the maps with a smile.

"How many maps did you create?" Draco asked her.

"That's for me to know and you to not." Erica told him as Phoenix fully showed herself.

"How many did she make?" Draco asked Cedar.

Cedar shrugged,"I'm not sure, she made quite a few though.

When Draco was asking, Erica quickly snuck over to Scorpius and handed him one of the maps.

"Has she-" Draco began.

"Don't interrogate the kids." Parker warned him.

"Really?" Scorpius asked quietly.

Erica patted his shoulder,"I'm not going to leave you out, am I?"

Scorpius nodded with a small smile, hiding it from Draco. Draco just wanted to see how many there actually was.

That's when the train whistle went.

"You all better be on your way." Hermione sighed.

Phoenix gave her sister one last hug before walking back and clinging to her mother. All the rest of the Herd said goodbye to their children before they boarded the Hogwarts Express.

"It feels like only yesterday we were all getting on this train." Parker sighed.

"I remember that day, you nearly beat me up like three times." Erica chuckled, placing a hand on Draco's shoulder.

"Let's.. Ignore that." Draco shook his head.

"Do you think they'll like it?" Ron asked.

"Mhm, Cedar hasn't shut up about it." Phoenix told them, shocking the adults, minus Erica, who never really heard her speak.

They all looked down at Phoenix, she always was quite small compared to everyone.

"Yeah? What's she been saying, hun?" Parker asked her.

"Well, I wasn't really listening for much, I was trying to read."
Phoenix admitted shyly,"She mainly wanted to explore the place and she wanted to try the food."

"Your uncle Ron never stopped eating the food." Hermione told her, "When you're older I'm sure you'll love it too."

Erica then picked up her daughter and sat her on her shoulders,"Now, you're the tallest."

"Remember when Erica finally got taller than Ron?" Harry asked them all.

"I remember because I am still the tallest of the adults." Erica stated before looking at Draco,"Wasn't really a problem getting taller than you."

"Watch it." Draco warned, "I was taller in first year."

"Yeah, you wore heeled shoes." Parker held back a laugh.

"She's wearing heels." Draco pointed towards Erica's boots.

"According to my calculations, you are still quite a bit shorter." Phoenix informed him.

Draco looked at Phoenix and sighed, "If the kid says so."

"By the way Draco, your laces are undone." Phoenix pointed out, resting her chin on Erica's head.

Draco groaned and bent down, tying the laces on his shoes.

"How about to celebrate the kids, we all go to a restaurant or something? Just for all of us to catch up on things." Hermione suggested.

"Phoenix, do I have anything planned?" Erica asked, her daughter always had a better memory than her.

"Mummy, you never have anything planned. You would go even if you did." Phoenix reminded her.

"She's right." Ron nodded.

"It's sad because I know she's right." Erica sighed,"She knows me better than I do."

"That's the best part about children." Parker smiled, "Come on then, let's go."

The Herd smiled and waved as the train departed from the station. A new generation was headed to Hogwarts. One that Hogwarts would be very proud of.
