Chapter 19

Dabi POV

[ Toga ] "Dabi, where are you going?"

[ Dabi ] "Oh, I'm going home..."

[ Toga ] "Why, don't you think it's a bit too early?"

I quietly closed the door behind me, and we both started walking home

[ Dabi ] "No, not really, but can I show you something when we get home?"

[ Toga ] "Uhh, sure?"

I walked into my room and grabbed something out of my jacket pocket in my closet.

[Toga] "Whatcha got there?"

I showed Toga, and she gasped.

[ Toga ] "Don't tell me!"

[ Dabi ] "No, no, no...it's not like that. This is Y/n's birthday gift. Do you think she will like it?"

[Toga ] "Of course she would. It's so beautiful! Did you steal it...?"

[ Dabi ] "No, but yes."

[ Toga ] "Who's care, Dabi? You must be really in love with Y/n because you don't even give me anything for my birthday or anyone else in this group."

[ Dabi ] "See, that's the issue. I don't want to be in a relationship, so I'm not entirely sure
if I'm in love with her."

Toga rolled her eyes.

[ Toga ] "Whatever, but Y/n going to like the gift regardless because you two are close friends."

I chuckled then look down

[ Dabi ] "Yeah, close friends.." *Mumble*

Y/n's POV

I yawned before answering the phone when I heard it ring.

[ Y/n ] "Hello?"

[ Aiko ] "Happy birthday, Miss Y/n!"

[ Y/n ] "Ughh, what did I tell you about-"

[ Aiko ] "I know, but I just want to ask you something important."

My head started ringing, so I shook my head

[ Y/n ] "What was that?"

[ Aiko ] "Oh, umm...everyone would love to celebrate your birthday by throwing a party!"

[ Y/n ] "No"

I was going to hang up until she stopped me

[ Aiko ] "Please, Miss Y/n! We just want to give you a party to celebrate you being a great person and boss; we guarantee it's going to be special!"

I sighed

[ Y/n ] "No cakes, this better be worth it, or you're getting fire."

[ Aiko ] "Yay, no promises! I'll invite everyone and send you a message to tell you what time."

[ Y/n ] "Okay, thank you."

[ Aiko ] "No problem."

After hanging up, I stretched.
