I waved as Charles left. My heart skipped a beat, and I didn't know why.

"Henry! It's Ellie! She-"

My heart sank and I ran.

"ELLIE! IS SHE ALRIGHT?" I screamed.

Everyone moved to the side as I ran, which gave me the further impression that something was wrong. I ran faster.

Medbay was cleared, our doctor looked at me with a saddend look.

"N-no.. she isn't.." I stuttered.

"She's sustained severe injuries. Military grade weapons are no joke. She survived, but I may have to give her cybernetic augmentations," she said.

I ran inside.

"Ells," I said.

"Henry, I lived," she smiled.

"You'll never believe who vistited us," I said, putting my hand on her face.

"W-who," she coughed.

"Charles, the man himself!" I exclaimed.

"Oh the helicopter boy you had a thing for?" She laughed.

"Shh! Not everyone on this airship knows! They all think I'm in love with my best friend," I whispered.

"Are they that oblivious?" she laughed.

"Did you know you might have to get cybernetic augmentations if you flatline or pass out?" I asked.

"Yeah, Doctor mentioned it," she said.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that, cause that is expensive," I laughed.

"Hey!" she said, lightly hitting me.

We continued laughing, until i noticed her eyes start to blank.

"Doctor! She blanking!! Her eyes!!" I yelled.

She ran in the room, "Plan B, augmentations. Shoo! Surgery!"

"ELLS!" I yelled as I was pushed out of the room.

"She's a fighter, she'll make it through, "Reginald said in an attempt to comfort me.

"Ells...." I whispered.
