I Think I Wanna Marry You

1 1/2 Years Later
Henry's POV

"Where are we going love?" Charles asked.

"Somewhere," I smiled.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you, too," I smiled.

Common Henry, don't fuck this up.

"This place looks familiar. Oh it is! This where our first date was!" Charles exclaimed.

"Sure is. I thought why not come back here to relive some of our best memories," I lied.

"You're such a sentimental person," he said, kissing me on the forehead.

The ring was sitting in my back pocket. I could not fuck this up. This is the love of my life. It's been too long to not do anything. 

I take his hand, "Charles, I will choose you over anything and everything forever."

"You proved that to me about two years ago," he smiled.

"I want to show you now that you are the most important thing to me," I said.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

I pulled the ring out of my pocket

Charles's POV

Henry got down on one knee, "Charles Calvin, will you marry me?"

I could feel my heart skip several beats; I began to tear up.

"Yes! Yes I'll marry you!" I exclaimed.

Henry slipped the ring on my finger. I hugged him so tight. I couldn't believe this was reality. 

"Woo! Helicopter Boy and Thefty Boy are getting married!" Ellie yelled from a corner.

I held Henry in my arms. I picked him up.

"Oh, so we're doing this," Henry said.

"Sure am!" I smiled.

I carried him out.

"Wait, I proposed to you. I should be carrying you," he said.

"I think you like me carrying you," I said.

"You're not wrong," he said.

"Just think in less than a year you'll have a ring too," I smiled.

"I can't wait," he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
