"Your Highness, we've found twelve groups of eight to ten spread around the perimeters," a man gave his report.

"You've taken care of them?" Floyd asked.

"Yes," he answered.

"How close were they?" I asked.

"Around five to seven kilos from their base camp," he answered. "Four groups were found breaching our territory," he added.

"How about their mines? Have you found anything?" Floyd asked again

"We didn't find any entrance, but we tried to dig a small area and found a hidden passage not too deep. We believe it spread from theirs to our land," he said.

Floyd nodded his head, "Good now we have other reason to attack them."

"But, Sir... Unfortunately, we can't explore too far underneath. It's too risky," he informed nervously.

"It's okay. We need them to execute their plan, destroying their people," Floyd assured him. Understanding what he meant, I add, "Try pointing how wide their tunnels spread. We'll need that," I ordered him.

He gave me a nod, then excused himself to leave.

When it had returned to only the two of us in the room, I ask Floyd a question, "Since when did the Royal Military have that squad?" A group of people who can effectively become both spies and assassins. I got curious when Floyd suddenly sent those talented people for this mission.

"They aren't. They are my people," Floyd answered briefly.

"... Why?" I asked.

"Let's say that I just want to gather talented people. Now, let's focus on solving every problem one at a time."

I was in between amazed and scared. All that Caden said before actually comes true.

The traps that they made for us become the thing that kills them.

If we go with our original plan, many would have died. Now, not only did we win easily, there are almost no casualties on our side.

We postponed our attack for a day, but further, everything was smooth sailing. With their backups did not appear, got caught in their own trap, their morale sag and their spirit dumped. They know they are losing. In just a few hours, we were able to seize them with minimum damages.

Floyd and I are currently heading to where the enemy's general was held captivated. We need him alive to gather information and negotiate.

"No, no it shouldn't be like this!"

I saw a man who'd been stripped from his armor, kneeling on the ground, being tied up. He looks pale, confused, scared. Talking to himself.

He loses his pride and now only appears like a scared old man.

"He said this is the best strategy. No one should be able to figure this. Did he lie? No, we can go this far because of him. How can we lose now? Unless..."

He suddenly gave a shotting eye at us. "You! How much do you pay him to leak this info?"

Him?

Floyd appeared displeased. "No one pays anyone," he answered calmly.

The man came back to self murmuring. "Impossible. He said this is something new. Only he knows it! He... he must be lying. How dare he? I've given him so much money and he betrayed me? I'm going to kill him! Yes, I should find him and kill him!"
