24. Kushi

She turned towards her brother and sister and said with a sad smile “yes, I'm back to take my revenge, it was me who killed Liza, Karan, Sid, Akash, NK, Mahindra Raizada and now, this so called Arnav Singh Raizada!!!!”

Kushali’s soul was back to avenge her death, in Kushi's body.

The revelations just stunned the entire audience.

Tears were flowing from everyone’s eyes.

Destruction.

That was what Arnav and his friends had brought in an innocent girl’s life.

Her only mistake was to trust the wrong person and her whole family paid the price.

Anjali looked at the fire burning in Kushali's eyes. She couldn't even imagine what she would have done if the same would have happened to her sister.

Wiping her eyes, Anjali spoke “Kushali, I know what my brother did is unforgivable. I won't beg you to spare him. You can take revenge, but please, Kushi is innocent. Her hands should never be tainted with such a sinner's blood. You can use anyone else’s body. Even…”

Before she could complete, she heard a scream.

Arnav, who was trying to come out of the fire during their talk, found himself being lifted in the air. He felt his whole body on fire.

With rage, Kushali said “he deserves death.  For all the sins you committed, you will rot in hell Arnav. No one will save you!!!”

"Please leave me! I won't do it again, please".

He cried and pleaded, but she had a manic glint and started going towards him.

"This will be your last day baby. After this, we both will be flying towards eternity".

Abruptly, Kushi fell down, Kushali's soul took the form of a woman in fire and entered Arnav's body, burning him.

Arnav started screaming, not able to bear the heat and pain in his body.

Kushali's soul completed the final act with a hysterical laugh.

“I loved you truly Arnav, I wanted us to become one, now see, in death, I'm merging myself with you.” With a loud cry, Arnav Singh Raizada's body burst into flames.

Everyone covered themselves from the bursting flame. Aman and Sonakshi ran towards Kushi and carried her to the adjacent room while the remaining people sat in front of the burning visage.

Anjali and Swara were crying inconsolably while the CBI team were standing silently, analyzing the situation.

After sometime, Arnav's body, more precisely, the remaining ashes of Arnav's body were scattered within the fire circle he was entrapped.
Going towards the room where Kushi was taken, Ranvijay waited outside while Anjali and Swara entered the room.

Kushi was sitting on the floor and her eyes closed.

Anjali spoke “it's better if we take her to the hospital. Once they deem her fit enough to travel, we'll take her to the hotel and rest.”

Nodding at her, Aman carried his Titli to the hospital with Sonakshi in tow, while the remaining members of the CBI team were discussing the next course of action.

Anjali, Shyam and Swara went along with Aman to make sure that Kushi was fine.
