I was locked in the maze at night. Hardly anyone survives a night in the maze. The whirl, click, clickof the Grievers was heard in the distance. But I remembered
why I was here. I was here to save the Gladers. To lead them out. So I started jogging, trying to find section 7. For some reason it felt like I was being pulled there and the turns I took felt natural. After about an hour I began to hear screams. Not from the maze, but from the Glade. I assume it was for the same reason I hadn't encountered a Griever the whole night. Praying no one got hurt I started running again. For two more hours I took periodic turns, mentally mapping the maze out. And then I saw it. The same giant plaque that had a 7 on it. I took one more right turn before I saw the canyon from my dream, except this time there were no Grievers. Cautiously I began to walk across the pathway, towards the circular doors. Suddenly I felt a tingly feeling on the back of my neck before the door beeped and opened. I walked to the second door with the number pad by it. 71526483. I typed it in and there was another beep as the doors opened. The door led to a dark hall. I walked down it for a few minuets before it curved to the right. And the at the end of the hallway there was a sign. A sign with a single red word on it.EXIT
"Shuck. It was that easy?" I wondered aloud. Filled with a new found hope and excitement I turned around and started running to the Glade.
