"oscar, can you please drive faster we're already late." valeria ran her fingers through her freshly straightened hair.

"exactly y'all already late who cares if an extra 5 minutes is added." cesar shook his bald head at their bickering.

valeria thanked oscar for the ride before he drove off. the two siblings walked into the church side by side.

"she needs to know. he's not coming."

"but he's already here." cesar spoke up approaching monse and ruby who gawked at his appearance.

ruby shifted his eyes to his girlfriend in front of him, "wow. you look absolutely breathtaking princesa."

valeria smiled leaning in to kiss him when he stopped her, "no kissing. you'll ruin your gloss."

instead he took her hand and kissed the back of it. "so thoughtful."

"i hate to break the mood but did he do it?"

"i don't know he wouldn't tell me. he told oscar that he did but i don't think he actually-"

"cesar!" olivia exclaimed in joy running over to wrap her arms around him. seeing the look on monse's face valeria reached over and rubbed her arm.

"thank you," monse muttered happy their relationship was slowly starting to repair.

after yesterday, alexis didn't think she would hear from jamal every again and then he called her and told her he found some new information about rollerworld. the two were in his room brainstorming about nursery ryhmes.

"lex! stop looking at juanita and this rhyme is the map. ring-a-round the rosie if for frankie. pocket full of posies is lil' ricky. and ashes to ashes is benito."

alexis snapped her fingers standing up, "your right. this was a way for them and only them to decide where the money was buried. and so the last line is the answer."

jamal sat down throwing his football up in the air as he tried to figure it out.

"we all fall down! jamal! it's the football field."

jamal and alexis spent the rest of the day gathering up shovels, bags, and even metal detectors. it was now night and lex and jamal stood side by side on the football field the both of them sharing a look.

"let's get it, girl."

valeria tilted her head back letting out a small moan as ruby continued to suck on her neck. during the service ruby couldn't stop staring at his girlfriend and how amazing she looked. he tried his best to keep the dirty thoughts out of his head but he'll just beg the great man above for forgiveness later.

"ruby we should get back they're gonna notice that we're gone." a gasp escaped her lips as his hand slipped into her underwear.

ruby had a satisfied smirk on his face, "yeah, that's right baby girl shhh." he then pressed his lips against hers to quiet her moans their tongues battling against eachother.

ruby broke away from the kiss and moved towards the edge of the bed lifting her legs up to rest on his shoulders. he paused, looking into her eyes he waited for confirmation and when he got it he instantly got to work between her legs.

"ricky, where the hell did you put it?" jamal panted.

alexis wiped the beads of sweat on her forehead with her forearm laying back on the grass to take a break.

"i know it's here. but where's it buried?"

"shit."

alexis sat up on her elbows to look at jamal, "what?" she asked.

"it's on the other side."

"fuck!" alexis shouted into the sky.

"i'm sorry!" jamal shouted back.

ruby took valeria's hand in his leading her onto the dance floor, cesar and monse going right after and then olivia and the chefs son, marco.

"it was really sweet of you to call olivia's parents." valeria played with the ends of his hair as they danced.

"your not jealous are you?" he asked.

"please, i'm that bitch she's just a bitch." ruby raised an eyebrow and then pretended to slice his throat with his hand, "periodt." valeria and ruby shared a laugh the both of them happy to be in each other's arms.

by now, jamal had reached his breaking point where as alexis was trying to stay positive. "i can hear you, ricky. i hear you laughing. i hear you calling me a loser. and you know what? you're right. 'cause i'm cutting my losses... and i'm getting out of here."

alexis sighed continuing to dig as jamal yelled at the sky, "jamal, just try to think happy thoughts okay just think about-" alexis stopped talking and looked down to see that her shovel broke into two causing her to instantly let out a sob and throw it behind her. "fuck this!" she shouted out standing up with jamal to grab their things.

the two started to walk away but they both stopped and stared at eachother, they've come too far and they wouldn't walk away with nothing.

looking down at her hands that have formed blisters she nodded her head and looked back at jamal, "let's do this."

during their dancing, olivia broke up the pair because she wanted to express her gratitude to ruby and so because, it was her birthday valeria bit her tongue and let her have a dance with him. it wasn't like it was a slow song or anything so she didn't mind that much but she did warn olivia that she would quite literally scratch her face off if she touched him.

walking over to the food table, valeria started snacking on some pretzels considering that was all that was really left at the snack table.

valerie jumped and let out a gasp in surprise when she heard a loud gunshot with screams following close behind it. she quickly turned her head pushing her way through the crowd of people in search for her group.

she didn't have to look long when she saw olivia and ruby on the floor. she felt her breath hitch in the back of her throat and her knees buckled before she fell on the floor beside him along with Geny.

"ruby! ruby look at me bebe please." her voice cracked and her eyes were blurry from the tears which made her urgently wipe them away so that her vision was cleared again. "Call 911! Call 911!" she heard his mother cry out.

the two women who loved ruby most continued to talk to him and made sure he stayed awake until the paramedics got to him. they ushered everyone away from olivia and ruby but valeria couldn't move.

her shaky hands were placed on his cheeks as his glossy eyes stared back at her. "talk to me bebe please. i love you so much." she choked back a sob when he didn't reply.

cesar wrapped his arms around her waist causing her to let out a violent cry as she was pulled away from ruby. she felt a sharp pang in her chest as she was dragged farther and farther away from him. valeria scratched and clawed  at cesar's wrist and arms to let her go but to no avail. "i'm sorry, i'm so sorry." cesar was forced to listen to her cries as he held her tightly in his arms so she wouldn't escape.
