Chapter 8: My special friend
The two just pulled away when Jin fake coughed and cleared his throat. Jungkook awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck while Taehyung let out a soft chuckle.
"You two have been hugging for almost 24 hours now. Should we get inside and have lunch? I'm pretty hungry and I can feel ants crawling around me." Jin spoke glancing at the two suspiciously.
"Yeah, sure, let's get inside now, Hyung and Koo." Taehyung excitedly said, ignoring what Jin had just said.
"Come inside, Jungkook, and feel free at home," Jin uttered and went inside first followed by the two.
Jin arranged the dining table with Taehyung's help.
"Have a seat so we can have a little chitchat," Jin told them after putting the ramen on top of the table.
He watched how Jungkook pulled the chair for Taehyung and his brother gladly accepted it and sat down on the chair. He shook his head and sat down on the chair while the two were in front of him. He was a little bit surprised because Taehyung sat with someone beside him. They were eating like a common human.
"By the way, I'm Kim Seokjin, Taehyung's brother, it's nice to meet you." Jin introduced him.
"It's nice to meet you too, I'm Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook smiled.
"I would like to ask if you are the son of Jeon Jeonho, the richest man here?" Jin inquired.
"Oh, uh, yeah, I am. Why did you ask?" Jungkook was obvious that he didn't want to answer that question.
"Really? I'm one of his employees. But aren't you in a relationship or something?" Jin asked curiously.
"What? No, I'm not, I'm single." Jungkook clarified.
"That's weird, your father gratefully announced that his youngest son will be engaged to Yun Seong, his friend in the business," Jin stated.
"It's kind of complicated, I'm so sorry, I can't fully explain it to you," Jungkook replied.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Jin apologized.
"It's okay, I understand." Jungkook simply smiled.
"I'm relieved, I don't want to get fired." Jin playfully said.
"Don't worry, I don't have the power to do that." Jungkook giggled.
"You two are seriously loud and forget that I exist." Taehyung pouted.
"Oh, sorry baby, I'm just having fun with your hyung." Jungkook literally got used to giving Taehyung a nickname.
Jin raised his brow. Did he hear it wrong? No way, he can't be wrong. He's always right.
"Should we go outside to have some fun? It's my treat." Jungkook said changing the topic.
"Sure, I would love that; how about you, Hyung?" Taehyung replied enthusiastically.
"Yeah, as long as I'm also with you two," Jin uttered.
"That's fine for me, let's go?" Jungkook smiled.
"Alright, let's get going!" Jin stood up from his seat.
The two chuckled and stood up from their seat and followed Jin outside of the house. They used Jungkook's car with Taehyung beside Jungkook in the driver's seat while Jin felt like a third wheel sitting behind them.
They arrived at the mall, Jungkook and Jin came out but Jungkook literally opened the door car for Taehyung and helped him come out of his car.
"Where should we go first?" Jungkook asked.
"Arcade! It's been a while now since I go there!" Taehyung excitedly responded.
"Then, let's go to the arcade!" Jungkook chuckled at Taehyung's cuteness.
They ran inside like a child while Jin couldn't help but feel as if he was disturbing their date. Why did he come with them again? He doesn't know.
Taehyung and Jungkook both try the shooting game in the arcade cabinet. They were against each other, and obviously, Jungkook won more than Taehyung.
"This can't be, you are a cheater." Taehyung pouted.
"I'm not, babe." Jungkook giggled.
"Then how? How did you win a lot more than me? Is this game biased? Can this game attract you? That's why it lets you win. Unbelievable, just because you are handsome even this game loves you." Taehyung cutely grumbled.
"That's not it, baby, you should aim it right."
Jungkook went behind Taehyung and helped him to aim the target, which worked, and Taehyung defeated the monster boss with ease.
"Wow, I won." Taehyung cheered and turned around.
"See, that's how it works. You did a good job, babe." Jungkook patted Taehyung's chin.
"You are seriously the best, Jungkook. No wonder why I like you." Taehyung giggled.
"I like you too, love." Jungkook winked at him.
"Ehem, I'm pretty sure I interrupted y'all. But can you give me tokens?" Jin interrupted them.
"Oh, sorry, sure I'll just get tokens for us," Jungkook uttered and left to go buy tokens.
"You" Jin called his brother, Taehyung.
"Yes, Hyung?" Taehyung responded with an innocent face.
"What's the relationship between you two?" Jin asked crossing his arms.
"What do you mean by that, hyung?" Taehyung inquired confusedly.
"Is he just a friend to you or something more than that, hm?" Jin explained.
"Jungkookie is more than a friend Hyung because he is...
My special friend, Jungkook is the best guy ever and so caring and so sweet and understanding—"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I understand now. Special friend my ass." Jin shook his head.
"Why? Don't you like him? Why? Jungkookie is everything hyung, you can't hate him." Taehyung huffed.
"I didn't say I hate him. It's just weirded me out that you two are that close without me knowing about it. I felt just you know." Jin stated dramatically.
"Don't be so dramatic, hyung. It's not that weird, you are just weird." Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes.
"Aish, this kid, you're lucky we're in public, or else I already hit you in the head." Jin retorted.
"As if you can do that, I'll make Jungkook hit you in the head instead." Taehyung teased and ran away to go to his Jungkookie.
"Hey, I'm your hyung for God's sake."
Jin just shook his head, he was glad that his little brother was slowly going along with others.
