Chapter 10: Invitation
Taehyung finally finished his morning routine. He went out of his room and saw Jin preparing food for them.
"Good Morning, take a seat so we can eat. I'm almost done." Jin greeted him.
Taehyung hums in response and took a seat on the chair. Jin arranged the dining table and join Taehyung.
"By the way, I saw an invitation card in your room, what was that for?" Jin asked while they were eating.
"Just a classmate invited me to her party, that's it." Taehyung responded.
"Are you going there? I would love to see you having fun you know." Jin smiled.
"Nah, hyung, I rather want to take a rest than go to the party." Taehyung replied.
"Come on, Taehyung, you barely got an invitation like this, you shouldn't waste it." Jin told him.
"I know hyung, but I'm sure I won't do anything there instead of hiding from afar." Taehyung retorted.
"You can have fun there and meet friends. They will surely talk to you, I can assure you that party like that will be fun and unforgettable too." Jin stated.
"But hyung, I—"
"If you're uncomfortable being alone, you can invite Jungkook to be with you, he won't reject your offer. Besides, you should try new things too, Taehyung. It won't be bad for you." Jin told him.
"Fine, I'll think about it." Taehyung sighed in defeat.
"Good" Jin giggled.
Later that day, Jin dropped Taehyung to the University. Taehyung roamed his eyes looking for a specific person. A smile plastered on his lips when he spotted Jungkook who was talking with someone.
"Jungkook!"
He called out to the boy, Jungkook heard and looked at him. Jungkook smiled and opened his arms and Taehyung immediately run to him and hugged him.
"Missed me already?" Jungkook chuckled and Taehyung pulled away from the hug.
"Yeah, are you busy?" Taehyung smiled looking at him.
"Kind of, preparing for the anniversary celebration and lots of stuff." Jungkook replied, sighing.
"Oh, I was about to ask you something." Taehyung muttered.
"What is it then?" Jungkook asked curiously.
"Well, it's an invitation but since you're busy, I don't think I should ask you, I don't want to bother you." Taehyung uttered.
"Don't worry, bub, I'm always free for you so you don't need to worry about it." Jungkook tapped his chin.
"Do you remember Ashley?" Taehyung inquired and that name annoyed Jungkook.
"Yeah, what's with her?" Jungkook poked his tongue in his inner cheeks.
"She invited me, right? Well, hyung told me to go to her party to try new stuff and have fun. So if you don't mind, can we go there together? I want to go with you and also, I don't want to disappoint hyung." Taehyung stated.
"Sure, I don't mind. I'll go with you." Jungkook smiled and ruffled the pretty boy's hair.
"Thank you, Koo, then after the party should we go to that restaurant again? And to the arcade?" Taehyung asked with his eyes beaming in excitement.
"Everything for you, love." Jungkook giggled and pecked Taehyung's forehead.
"You're really the best!" Taehyung enthusiastically said and hugged Jungkook again.
"Do you want me to bring you to your class? Your first class was about to start." Jungkook uttered.
"Sure, I would love to." Taehyung smiled widely.
"Let's go then." Jungkook said.
They walked away and Jungkook forgot that he was talking with someone earlier and that person was watching their interaction with an awkward expression.
"Did they forget I'm here?" Myung who was with Jungkook sighed.
"Unbelievable"
He shooked his head and left to go to his class.

And now, the two were currently in the restaurant instead of the park since Jungkook invited Taehyung to a "friendly" date so obviously, the pretty boy accepted. It was their lunch break and Jungkook is a little busy but he wants to eat with Taehyung.
"Do you have any plans for today, love? Summer break is about to come." Jungkook asked while they were eating.
"Nothing yet, I guess I'll stay in my house. I really don't like going outside." Taehyung responded.
"Do you want to go travel with me?" Jungkook inquired.
"What?" Taehyung was surprised to hear that.
"I mean, we can go outside of the country during our summer break if you want to. Just tell me where country you want to go and I'll bring you there." Jungkook explained.
"Is that how you spend your summer break? That sounds amazing." Taehyung uttered.
"Not really, I just think it will be fun if we go somewhere else, right?" Jungkook giggled.
"I don't know, Koo, but I'm scared of airplanes and high places." Taehyung admitted.
Jungkook held Taehyung's hands that were on top of the table.
"You don't have to worry, love, I'm just suggesting so at least we can spend together. Besides, we can go and find another tourist spot here if that makes you comfortable." Jungkook stated and pecked the top of Taehyung's hands.
"I will think about it, Jungkook, I promise, I will spend my summer break with you." Taehyung giggled.
"I'll wait for it then, as long as I'm with you, I will be happy." Jungkook smiled and pecked Taehyung's ring finger.
"Okay, thank you for everything, Jungkook." Taehyung smiled back.
After that, they went back to the University to attend their last 3 subjects. But Jungkook attended the meeting for the celebration planning. He was already excused from his classes.
"Jungkook, do you hear the rumor?"
Suddenly, Jimin whispered to him who was sitting beside him.
"What do you mean?" Jungkook asked not looking at him because someone is presenting.
"Your dad already spread the article about your wedding and relationship. It was getting a lot of attention because you know that your father's reputation is huge enough." Jimin told him.
"It was fake, I don't have any plans to marry someone not unless it's Taehyung." Jungkook smirked.
"Whatever you say, idiot."
Jimin just smacked the back of his neck and he just chuckled silently.
