*tap, tap, tap* I hear from the window of the car, "wake up!" I hear my mother call. "we're here darling". I yawned and opened my weary eyes." Already?" I asked. "Go grab your bags and start unpacking," she told me. I grab the cold car door handle and it clicked open *click*. "Wow!" I exclaimed glancing at the beautiful pink house standing in front of me.

It was like no other house I'd ever seen before! It had pink walls with a crisp white trim and the most beautiful roses lining the edges of the path leading up to the front door. I quickly grab my blue daisy-printed suitcase out of the back of our white van and run along the path, and up to the door to the flat. It wasn't through the main door, but rather to the side of the house. I clattered the door handle and it finally squeaked open. I heard the quiet noise of my suitcase rolling behind me as I stepped inside.

My eyes shimmered at the thought of this place being my new home. My mother and father strode behind me in awe at the sight. They continued to go back and grab more suitcases from the van. I clutched my suitcase in between my hands and stumbled up the brown creaky wooden stairs. I looked around at the three doors presented to me by the short white-trimmed hallway.

I choose the first door and grab the door handle and twist *squeak*. It was a light brown mostly, with white and cream accents here and there. Through windows shone yellow glowing moon rays that traced all the way down onto the hardwood flooring of the room.

It had a small windowsill and a small white corner closet just big enough for my clothes to fit. It looked lovely I thought, therefore it was the bedroom I choose to be mine. I sat on the cold creaky floor and unzipped my suitcase. I focused my attention on the windowsill and I noticed something behind the cream curtains.

I pulled them apart further, revealing a little doll with a similar haircut to mine and shiny charcoal button eyes, and a little green sweater, jeans, and black rain boots

I pulled them apart further, revealing a little doll with a similar haircut to mine and shiny charcoal button eyes, and a little green sweater, jeans, and black rain boots. I tilted my head and stared it in the eyes. It looked surprisingly like me. Strangely enough, it had a wicker star necklace, identical to the one around my neck. I stroked her soft hair and picked her up being careful not to break her. She was the most beautiful doll I have ever seen. I posed her up on my small wooden bed, covered with green sheets. "She's like a little version of me!" I exclaimed. "Maybe it was a gift from mom or dad?". I knew they hadn't gone up here before me. I sighed and pulled on my sweatshirt and biker shorts, and got into my bed. And slowly dozed off into sleep.
