Bucky x Reader~Happy Halloween

(Y/n)'s POV~1942

  I opened the door letting Steve and Bucky in. "Hi (Y/n), happy Halloween." Steve said giving me a smile. I smiled back, "Thank you, Happy Halloween as well, you both going to help me hand out candy?" I asked with a little laugh.

  "Ha you wish, I'm just dropping off Bucky, I'm helping my mom out with Halloween." Steve said, pushing Bucky a little. Bucky gave a smile and then a laugh. "Well lucky me, I have movies to watch tonight, while we hand out candy." I said, walking to my kitchen, I grabbed my big candy bowl and set it down by the door of my apartment.

  "Sounds great, thanks Steve, for dropping me off." Bucky said shoving Steve out. "Alright Alright, I'm leaving, Bye (Y/n)!" Steve shouted before Bucky shut the door. "Bye Steve!" I shouted back. "So soldier boy, pick a movie to watch first." I said, pointing to the big tapes I had.

  "I'm curious about this one 'Cat People' it's intriguing." He said with a smile. I laughed a little, "You've got it Bucky." I said, he laughed a little. I picked up my pumpkins that Steve and Bucky helped me carve, and I opened my front door, placing them on my steps.

  I took my matches and put a flame into them. Bucky when he got here was wearing his Sergeant's uniform. And I physically forgot how to breath for a second. We both met on the job, I'm working as a nurse for the Army, and he was escorting some soldiers who were hurt and we met there.

  I walked back inside my apartment and made sure that my front lights were on. "Each kid get one piece of candy, if any kids knock on the door while I change." I said, he saluted to me and said "yes ma'am." He said making me laugh, I walked to my room and changed into my costume.

  I'm a witch this Halloween, I was going to wear my uniform, but I decided against wearing my uniform again. I came out of my room, seeing Bucky standing at the door. "Woah, look at you fella, a ghost, pretty scary, we have a soldier as well, guess what buddy, I'm a real soldier, I'm the sergeant for the 107th infultry." Bucky said with a smile.

  The kid who dressed as a soldier, his face lit up. "Really!?" He asked excitedly, "yes sir, see my badge here, this means sergeant rank." He said back, the kids face was amazed. And he gave the kid on of my baby Ruth candy bars. "This little miss are you a nurse?" Bucky asked, she smiled shyly and nodded.

  "Really, your very beautiful, my friend (Y/n) she's a nurse for the Army, we both work there. She's also really beautiful." I felt my cheeks heat up. "Do you like her?" The other girl dressed up as a clown asked. Bucky chuckled "Well thats a secret." He said giving her a piece of candy.

  "Well thank you, what do we say?" The teenager who brought the four of them asked. "Thank you!" They all said at the same time, Bucky smile and waved to all of them and shut the door. "Aw did I miss them?" I asked, acting like I just came out of my room.

  Bucky's eyes widened as he saw me. "U-Uh, yeah, Y-You just missed them." He stuttered, my smile fell "Do I look okay?" I asked. He tried to speak but he had to clear his throat, "D-Doll, you look very beautiful." He said, a nervous smile.

  "Thank you, now let us watch this movie you're so interested in." I said waving him over to my couch. He nodded and sat down next to me, and I started my projector and we watched the movie. Bucky got comfortable as we watched, I was actually interested.

  Halfway during the movie there was a knock on my door. I got up and walked to the door, opening it hearing "TRICK OR TREAT!" From the kids. I smiled giving them a little laugh. "Oh Wowie, let's see what we have, Frankenstein, very well in detail." I said with a smile, the kid smiled and gave a little laugh.

  "A pumpkin, so very cute." I said to a girl who had a little bag for candy, she smiled and gave a little giggle. "A cat, very cute, and a skeleton, wow all of your costumes are amazing." I said, giving out a butterfinger to all the kids.
