                        "Good shot"

"Mom,did Hezekiah's adoption got approved?" Ezio ask while we we're eating breakfast.

Tumango si Mommy habang ngumuya.Pinahiran niya muna ang kaniyang bibig bago sumagot.

"Yes,of course.All of the documents are all done"

"But how? Ang dali niyo lang naeproseso"

Daddy put his fork down and look at Ezio.Jace is beside me,eating silently but I know his listening to the conversation.

"Connections son,you know that.They can't say no to the Alvarez clan"

"Yeah,I know.It's just you met her one day ago and now she's already officially an Alvarez"

"Masanay ka na iho" Mommy said.Tumango na lamang si Ezio para hindi na lumaki ang mga tanong at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

Tumunog ang plato ng biglang binaba ni Jace ang kaniyang kutsara't tinidor kaya napalingong kami.

"I just wan't to ask how old are you Hezekiah"

How old am I? From what I know,I'm already sixteen.That was the goddess of water told me.We don't usually celebrate our birth in the underwater but we do count our age.Instead,we do a traditional way to celebrate and that is to hunt your own kind.And that is Fish! Of course.Nalungkot nga ako kasi dapat ako yung papatay at huhuli tsaka naman ipapa-anod sa papunta sa mga tao.It's a way to give respect to the humans.

"Sixteen po" And I smiled akwardly.

"We're older than you then" Jace said.

"I'm 9 years older than you" oh so that means he's already 25 years old.

"I'm already 23" Ezio said.

"That's a good news too.You have a savior when your in danger iha.Oh how good it is to have an older brother.I suddenly missed kuya Arthuro"Mommy said.

As a reply,the two boys nodded their heads.

"Take care of your only little sister boys.You may not be sharing the same bloods but still,she's your sister in the papers"

Tumingin siya sa dalawang lalaking anak at ngumiti sa akin.

"If someone would  pursue you,dapat dadaan muna siya sa amin ng mga kuya mo" Daddy said.

"Of course dad,I won't let some stupid boys chasing our little girl"sabi ni Ezio.

"You must call us kuya then,Hezekiah" Jace said.

Nahihiya akong tumango at sumang-ayon. "Yes,kuya"

"Good girl" sabi nito at ginulo pa ang aking buhok. Tumawa rin kaming lahat dahil sa naging itsura ko.I'm glad that they are so good to me despite of our first impressions.Araw-araw kong iniisip yung kahihiyan na ginawa ko sa kanila.At eto silang dalawa.They we're treating me good and so open with me.I feel safe and secured with them.Kahit nakakailang rin paminsan-minsan ay nakapagaan naman sa dibdib.

"Goodmorning fam! You having a great breakfast.I hope you are!" Isang magiliw na boses ang kumuha sa aming atensyon.Isang lalaking naka casual tshirt at maong ang bumungad sa amin.

"Pinapasok ko nalang itong si Icarus Madam,kanina pa pala nasa labas naghihintay e ang init-init pa naman ngayon" sabi ni manang Rosalia na nasa tabi pala ni Icarus.

Binigyan ng matalim na tingin ni Kuya Jace si Icarus.

"What are you doing here?"

"Visiting you?" Sabi nito na parang hindi sigurado sa sagot.
