Chapter 11

I woke up to darkness. I haven't dreamt about the first day Ace and I met in a long time. I sighed as I stared at the ceiling.

Ace!? Where are you!? I thought to myself. I heard footsteps followed by voices.

"I TOLD YOU TO FIND HIM!" I heard Drakes voice say," HE IS NOT TO GET INTO THIS ROOM!! SHE IS NOT LEAVING!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!?!"

"Yes sir!" An unfamiliar voice said.

He's here!? I thought to myself I have to help him!! I walked over to the door and closed my eyes taking a deep breath. I concentrated and focused all my energy on the locked door and the guard or guards outside, hoping this would work. Next thing I knew, the door was flying off the hinges. I stepped out and the two guards outside the door, were on the ground unconscious. I turned and took off down the hall. I have to find my way out of here.

"STOP HER!" I heard Drake yell from down the hall followed by running.

"SHIT!" I said turning to the right.

I have to get out of here! I thought to myself I have to find Ace! I ran through the halls for about ten minutes before I felt someone grab me.

"AHH!! GETT OFF ME!! ACE!!" I screamed struggling.

"I'm right here Clara! Calm down," I melted when I heard his voice. He let go and grabbed my hand.

"Come on," Ace said leading me down the hall," let's get you out of here!"

"Is my family really dead?" I asked as Ace ran through the woods with me in his arms. He didn't say anything, but by the look on his face told me everything I needed to know. I looked away as the tears rolled down my face.

"I'm so sorry Clara!" Ace said," I tried to save your family, but there were just too many of them!" I lost my family! I can't lose Ace! He's all I have left! I snuggled closer to Ace as the tears continued. He ran for what felt like forever before he stopped. I looked around and saw the house we stayed in after we left the compound just over a week ago.

"Back here," I sighed as Ace walked through the door and set me down.

"I know," Ace sighed," I didn't want to leave the compound either we just went back, but we have no choice. Kiba has already put up a protection spell. It's even stronger than the last one. She used a bonding agent that makes it where not even your grandfather can get in here!" I nodded.

"I'm going to bed," I said quietly as I headed up the stairs. I walked into the familiar room I had grown used to. I walked over to the bed and laid down.

Alright Clara! Just calm down! Ace said we'll get out. I have to go so I can make sure everyone gets out, but I promise I will find you and bring you home! I love you beautiful!

I love you too! I thought as he disappeared from my thoughts. I sighed laying down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

I don't know what to do! I thought to myself I can't lose them. I can't lose him!

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE ALL DEAD!?" I heard Drake say," HOW DOES ONE FILTHY LEECH KILL AN ENTIRE PACK!?"

"I don't sir," I heard an unfamiliar voice say," he escaped."

"WHAT!?" Drake growled.

"But... we took care of her family," the unfamiliar voice said," they're all dead." I froze. What!?! They're dead!?! The room started to spin, and everything went black.

I woke up to silence. I rolled over and saw I was in bed alone. I frowned as I looked at my clock. It said 7:30 am. I sighed and got up. I had gotten about half way down the stairs when I heard Ace talking.
