"CLARA!?" I heard through the darkness. I recognized that voice, but I couldn't place it just yet," Clara!? Please! Open your eyes love!" Ace!? I felt a pair of arms lift me up, then a few seconds later set me back down on a softer surface.

"Please!" I could hear the desperation in his voice. I wanted to open my eyes, to let him know that I'm okay, but I was in too much pain.

"DAMN IT!" Ace hissed. I could hear shuffling and things breaking and flying across the room. Where are we? Did we make it out? Was it just a dream and I'm home?

"LET US OUT OF HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" I heard Ace growl," YOU SAY YOU'RE HER GRANDFATHER, BUT YOU WON'T EVEN GET A DOCTOR IN HERE TO FUCKING MAKE SURE SHE'S ALRIGHT YOU FUCKING COWARD!!" I guess I wasn't dreaming, we're still prisoners! It was silent for a while. Not a single sound, then I heard a sigh.

"Clara! Baby! Please wake up!" I heard as I felt a hand gently stroke my cheek. I tried to focus on Ace.

Ace!? I asked. No response.

Ace!? Asked again.

"Clara!?" I heard an anxious Ace ask.

I'm okay! I told him I just can't open my eyes. I'm in too much pain.

"Thank god! You're alive!" Ace sighed in relief," I promise I will get us out here! One way or another!" I didn't have the strength to reply to him. We sat there with Ace holding me for what felt like forever before I was finally strong enough to open my eyes.

"Ace!?" I asked as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Clara!?" Ace asked worriedly. He sat up and sighed smiling when he saw my eyes were open.

"I was wondering if I was going to be able to see those big beautiful eyes of yours again anytime soon," Ace smiled kissing my head.

"You and your cheesy pick-up lines," I said managing a small smile.

"It makes you smile, that's all that matters," Ace said helping me as I slowly sat up.

"Where are we?" I asked looking around. I saw that we were in the same room as the one where I attacked Drake.

"I don't know," Ace sighed standing up and pacing," my best guess is that we're somewhere in the northern part of Georgia." I looked at him.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"I've been to a lot of places in my existence," Ace shrugged," I've learned to identify them by the sounds and smells!"

"Oh," I said, then looked down fidgeting with my fingers," what do you think he's going to do us?" I could feel my insides twisting just thinking about all the possibilities.

"I honestly don't know," Ace said sitting next to me, then made me look at him," I will protect you no matter, even if it kills me!" I saw a look of determination in his eyes. I knew he would do anything.... even if it really did kill him! Before I could say anything, the door open.

"Good! You're awake!" Drake said walking in," I was beginning to worry. You've been out for three days."

"WHAT!?" I asked looking at Ace who frowned, then glared at Drake standing in front of me protectively.

"Sit leech!" Drake growled. Ace's body jerked, then fell to the ground.

"ACE!?" I screamed sitting by him," ACE!?! Are you okay?" That's when I noticed it.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" I growled looking at Drake.

"It's a collar that shoots small amounts of silver into his system with the press of a button!" Drake smiled evilly," just a little insurance policy. This way I can make sure he will behave. Plus, all I have to do is press this red button and it will kill him instantly." Drake showed me the remote as he pointed to a red button.
