Chapter 1: Mating Season

Levy POV

The battle against the Alvarez Empire and Acnologia was finally over. We all returned to the guild... and after some time, things changed back to the way they should be... Well, for the most part.

First of all, Gray was now a lot more fond to Juvia. The water mage could still be quite a nuisance due to her many crazy ways of showing her love, but I kinda felt as if Gray didn't mind them as much as he used to long ago. Of course, they were still not dating or anything of that sort... In fact, they were still miles away from that... But at least the ice magic user had finally realized his own feelings towards the cute bluenette.

In addition to this, Erza was now a lot more careful of her appearance because of another certain bluenette she really liked. Over the course of these days, I could easily notice the extreme and special care she had been showing on... brushing her hair... what she wears at the guild... what she wears in public... even what she normally eats. Though, I don't think anything will ever manage to change her obsession for strawberry cake.

Changing the topic, Gajeel and I had finally started officially dating and we even discussed having a baby at some point in our lives... That's right... A baby... I just couldn't help but to shudder from excitement at the mere thought of becoming a mother. And there was obviously no one else who I'd ever share this magnificent experience with than with the iron dragon slayer I love so much.

But enough of me... Something else that had surprisingly been spreading lately around the guild were the lots of interesting rumors regarding Laxus and his complicated love life. In fact, me and the other girls just loved to talk about them and discuss our favorite one, which for me by the way... was the one about Mira and the lightning dragon slayer growing a lot closer recently.

In any case, even with all the changes that had taken place recently, there was still one thing that hadn't changed one bit... and that was...

Natsu and Lucy...

Yup! Those 2 were definitely everyone's favorite duo. What is more, the entire guild was aware of just how much both the blond celestial mage and the pinkette dragon slayer liked and cared for each other. In fact, they were the only ones who still couldn't recognize it! And the reasons for it were just so maddening for me! First of all, Lucy was too dishonest with her own feelings... and secondly, Natsu was just too damn dense to even realize it!

Anyway, lately I've been feeling really interested in knowing more about dragon slayers because of my brand new relationship with Gajeel. I really wanna be ready for whatever problem that iron-head might give me once we take things further between us. So, I'm at the library right now reading some books about dragons, dragon slayer magic, and dragon slayers in general... until suddenly, between all of my research, I found out something that really made me worry.

Without a second thought, I left what I was doing and rushed towards the guild's main hall, looking for Lucy and Wendy. "LU-CHAN!!!" I screamed until I finally found her at the bar sitting right next to Natsu and Happy.

"Oh, hi Levy!" she replied, happily.

"Lu-chan, we need to talk" I added as she looked at me with doubt.

"About what?"

"Just come with me! It's an emergency!"

My words of panic apparently caught the attention of the pinkette boy, who suddenly barged into our conversation. "Sounds serious. Do you want me to come too?" Natsu asked.
