Chapter 4 The Next Morning.

*Codie's Pov*

I woke up to a heavy thing over my waist. I finally got my eyes to work correctly. I saw that it was a arm. I then looked back and I saw Marshall. I then began to smile. I got up without waking him up. I walked out of the room and I saw Debbie feeding Nate.

"Hey." I said getting a water bottle from the fridge. "Hey, sweetie. I have to go in a minute can you feed Nate?" She asked. "Sure I don't care." I said with ease. "Okay, here ya go. I have to get going." She said handing Nate to me.

"Alight well have a good day." I said feeding Nate his bottle. After Nate eat his bottle I burped him and I changed his diaper and I put him down for a nap. Then I found some food to eat. Well Marshall is still sleep. "It's time for his ass to get up." I thought. I made sure that Nate was good in his crib and I walked back to Marshall's room.

I walked in and he is still sound asleep. Then I had this brillerant idea. I walked to the fridge and I got the ice. I then found a bucket. I dumped the ice in the bucket and I walked back to Marshall's room. I walked up to his side and then I just threw it, with a smirk.

*Marshall's Pov*

I woke up to something very cold hitting me. I sit up and all I see Codie standing there with this devil smirk with a bucket. "Oh, you are going to get it." I said getting up. "NOOOO!!! YOU CAN NEVER CATCH ME COPPER!!!!" She yelled she threw the bucket at me and started off running.

She was running to the bathroom and then she locked it. But she doesn't know that there is a key. Long story why there is a key. I get the key and I unlock it very quick. I walk in and I don't see her. I look in the shower nothing. I then began to hear some giggling.

I looked down and I see the door to the cabienet is a little bit open. I opened the cabienet and there she is. "How the fuck do you fit there?" I said looking at her puzzled. "Well at my house when dad would be looking for me after he would yell at mom I have learned that I can fit under sinks because I would be hiding from that Jackass." She said quietly.

"I really don't want you going back there." I said sternly. "I know. But my dad will be pissed." She said sadly. "I don't care! You are going to stay with me!" I said loudly.

Codie finally got out of the cabinet and she started crying. I picked her up bridal style. I walked into the kitchen I sat her on the counter and I got her something to drink.

I then started cooking some food for us. Every now and then she will sniffle. But she seems okay. But I know she isn't. I cooked us hamburger.

I put the hamburgers in the kitchen table. I then went back into the kitchen to get Codie.

She hopped off and was jumping like a kangaroo. "I love it when she is so childish." I then smiled. "Why thank you! I love being childish." Codie said with her tongue out.

"Did I say that out loud?" I asked blushing. "Yeah. Awwww are you blushing?" She asked poking my cheeks. "No!" I said grinning.

"Awwww!! Your smiling now!!" She said poking my cheeks more. "No, I am grinning." I said with coolness. "No, you are smiling." She said.

"Nope, I am grinning." I said. "No!" She said very loudly. "Yes!" I said louder. Then it seemed like we was having a who can be the loudest contest.

At the end we ended up waking up Nate. I tired to get him to clam down but nothing was working. Then Codie was holding her hands out. "Good luck" I said.

She took him and she did something and he just shut up. "The fuck?" I said confused. "You have to have the breast to calm down a baby boy. I see he is a boob type of baby." She said with Nate beside her breast bouncing him.

"Damn, I really need you stay here now." I said grinning. "Yeah okay.. I don't think you will be able to handle me." She said with a smirk. "Wanna bet. If I can deal with my mom I can deal with you." I said confidently.

"Yeah okay. So you are able to handle me and your mom on a seven day week once a month?" She asked. "Why sure. But I am not going out to buy you guys the pads or tampons." I said with a look.

"Alight. Then if you 'think you can' I will stay here." She said. Yaya. She is staying here and she don't have to go to that bastards house..

Then my mom came home.. She fixed us some dinner and she went on to bed with Nate. Codie and I stayed up an we learned more about each other.

I learned that she has Blue eyes, when she gets mad they turn like a dark brown almost black, her real hair color is black, she loves Batman, she is an only child, her favorite colors are Black, Blue, and Red. She loves to just wear random bracelets. She will not wear pink. She wears glasses, she likes Football, basketball, Baseball. Her favorite food is Mac & cheese. She only wears jeans and shorts and some shirts and hoodies she never wears dresses or skirts..

She learned a lot about me. And I mean a lot. I told her that I am turning 15 in a couple days. She said that for my birthday we should go to the park and just do random things.
