Chapter 7

Inside the escape room Daniel and Justin stood very close to me. Feeling ko nagkaroon sila ng mental agreement na ganon ang gagawin. Pareho siguro sila ng iniisip ni Daniel.

I also think that it's possible, some of my friends have experienced this and it is not a pleasant thing. 'Yung iba sa kanila papasok ng horror house, biglang nilalapitan tapos hahawakan sa bewang or malapit sa dibdib. Of course nagkakagulo sa loob kasi for sure may matatakot, then they'll have an excuse and just call it an 'accident'.

I hate those type of people that takes advantage of a certain situation. Whether a girl or a boy, it's just not the right thing to do and it gets on my nerves.

I was busy finding clues inside the room when Justin suddenly shouted.

"Hoy! Nahanap ko na! Makakalabas na tayo dito!" He shouted happily.

Kanina pa kasi kami dito. Pare-parehas kaming hirap maghanap ng clues. I think it's been more than thirty minutes, I'm surprised the time isn't over yet. I wish I brought Seph with me. She was the observant one.

Lumapit kami kay Justin para tignan yung nakuha niya. Meron siyang hole na triangle sa hawakan niya.

"Baka ito yung susi sa safe. May shape shape din doon e. Tignan nalang natin." Daniel walked towards the little safe that was in the middle of the room.

Kakapasok lang ng key sa safe nang biglang mag-alarm. Our time was up. I could see the disappointed looks of the guys with me. They even slouched their backs and pouted at the same time. I swear may telepathy or something 'tong dalawang 'to.

"It's okay guys! Let's just get ice creams! Cheer up na." Tinapik ko silang dalawa sa likod at tinawanan nalang sila. They're like children.

As I suggested, we got out and ate ice cream. Aalis na daw si Justin maya-maya since may PTC daw bigla yung kapatid niya at siya daw ang pinapapunta. So, we kinda don't know what to do after. I guess we're just gonna head home.

"Are you sure you don't want us to give you a ride?" I asked Justin. Para naman mapadali na yung pag-byahe niya.

"Hindi na ano ba kayo," he chuckled. "Ituloy niyo nalang 'tong gala tapos kwentuhan niyo ko. Sayang naman kung maaga matatapos. Sige na una na ko!" He waved to us as he got inside the Beep bus.

Daniel and I stood beside each other as we waved back to him. We didn't talk while we were on our way to his car. It was kinda awkward and I don't know what the cause is.

"Huh?" I was about to open the car when I heard Daniel, I immediately looked his way. He's wearing a confused face while looking at me.

"Huh? What is it?" I asked and looked at him with the same confused face.

"Bakit ka sa backseat pupwesto? Ayaw mo ba sakin?" He chuckled.

Ah, I realize now. Sabagay, baka mag-mukha nga naman siyang driver ko.

"Alright, I'll ride shotgun then," I said and flashed a smile.

We were chatting the whole ride, it kind of slipped my mind to ask him where we're going. I didn't realize until we stopped at the entrance of an amusement park.

"What? Where are we?" I asked as I got out of the car.

"At an amusement park, duh."

I glared at him. He's being sassy again.

"Naisip ko lang naman na masiyado pang maaga para umuwi kaya dinala kita dito. Mag-picture nalang tayo ng marami tapos i-send natin lahat kay Justin para mainggit siya," he said with an evil smirk on his face while going through his phone. "Tara picture na tayo."

Tinaas niya yung camera para kita yung sign ng amusement park sa likod. Talagang gustong inggitin si Justin. I held onto his shoulders because he was tall and I had to be on my tippy-toes just so I could be on the frame.

"You're evil. How could you do him like that?" I said while laughing.

"Bakit nagpi-picture lang tayo, wala naman tayong masamang intensyon."

"You said you'll send it all to him!"

"Shh ano ka ba? Baka malaman." He had his index finger in front of his mouth while saying that. We both bursted out laughing.

We're really sorry Justin.

We spent the rest of the day playing mini games and doing rides. As planned, Daniel took a lot of pictures. He was like a mom and instructed me to pose with mascots and the likes. He would even yell to put my arms on my waist and I'll glare at him for that.

"Whoo, that was a lot of fun! I still wish I brought Seph here though. I wish we got to enjoy it together," I said as we sat down at a bench while eating hotdogs.

"You talk about her a lot huh? Sana mapakilala mo na kami sakaniya, parang mabuting tao naman dahil lagi mong kinu-kwento."

"She is a good person and I trust her a lot. Lagi siyang nasa tabi ko through good and tough times. Mahirap nang makahanap ng ganong tao these days." I let out a sigh, I am a social person and I talk to others well, but I rarely consider them as friends. But something about these two idiots I met at the mall makes me comfortable with them.

"Wait here, I'll just get something." He stood and ran somewhere else.

I didn't get the chance to yell at him so I just waited like he instructed. Sana naman hindi niya ako iniwan dito.

A sigh of relief escaped my mouth when he came back after what I think is about twenty minutes or more. Tumatakbo pa rin siya but he was holding something behind his back. I looked at him in confusion when he stood in front of me.

"Here." He was breathing heavily as he showed the Stitch stuffed toy I wasn't able to get earlier. "You looked like you wanted this bad earlier. Or maybe not, sorry kung in-assume ko." He scratched the back of his neck and looked away while blushing.
