"What's the good news?" they asked, knowing it had to be something big for Reid to fully leave the BAU. "Y/N's pregnant, I'm gonna be a dad"
Spencer
He stood in front of his desk as he waited for the potential agents to trickle in. He checked his phone a small smile forming on his lips as he stared at the lock screen. Y/N's face smiling back at him, he had caught her off guard when he took the picture, she hated it. Whenever he saw it though he was reminded of his girlfriend's beauty.
The clock struck 12:00, Spencer cleared his throat before starting his lecture. He walked around his desk as he spoke, writing down what they would be going over in future classes, he watched as a few students wrote down his lecture in their notebooks. "I suggest writing this down" he spoke as he looked at a few of his female students that didn't even have their notebooks out.
"I'm auditing this class" One spoke up and Spencer nodded, looking around at the others who all said the same thing. He chuckled softly before continuing his lecture. As he finished he looked over at the clock, seeing that he had 30 minutes remaining in the class without any more to lecture on. "Read the chapters, and you can go" he started "My office hours are from 1:30 to 3:30" he finished as he started to pack up his things for class.

It was just about 3:30 he had seen a few students during his office hours just checking in to introduce themselves and why they wanted to join. He started to gather his materials, before leaving his office, he wanted to make sure that he got home before Y/N did. Today was the one day that she stayed late for clients who couldn't make it during her usual hours.
He arrived at their apartment, smiling as he walked up the steps. His key turned in the lock, setting his bag down before grabbing the few things he hid in the nursery amid the items for the baby. He grabbed out the candles, setting them around the room waiting to light them until she called to tell him she was on her way home.
He sprinkled the rose petals over the tan bedspread, trying to form a heart with the petals. At the foot of the bed, he placed a small red bin, filling it with different stuffed animals, candy, a couple of books she had been talking about, and a few envelopes for when she was alone and needed a reminder about how loved she is.

You finished up with your last client, smiling as you remembered what day it was. You called Spencer as you headed out the door "Mm I'm on my way home love, I missed you" you spoke smiling as you heard his voice "I missed you too".
You arrived home opening the door setting your bag down, smiling as you saw Spencer exiting the bedroom to greet you. "Happy 4-month anniversary princess" he whispered, he made it a point to celebrate each month together during your first year together. You smiled kissing his lips gently muttering the phrase back.
He took your hand and lead you to the bedroom, you smiled as you looked at the bed in the candlelight. "Spence, I love you so much" you whispered as you stared at the scene in front of you. The bed was covered in rose petals the outline of a heart there.
There was a tote at the foot of the bed filled with presents. You giggled as you saw all of the candy and stuffed animals. "You know that you don't need to give me gifts to show your love right?" You asked as you wrapped your arms around his neck. He nodded "I just like to give them to you, and soon you" he whispered as his hand went to rest on the small bump that grew a tiny bit every day. You were about 10 weeks pregnant, even though you were so early in the pregnancy, Spencer read every book that he could on labor, and what to do.
He would read to you each night as you cuddled into his side. You introduced him to a few different genres other than just textbooks. "I love you Spence" you murmured as you sat down on the bed, smiling as he sat down next to you after he moved the tote, grabbing one of the books from the box.
You smiled as you shifted to the top of the bed, watching him do the same as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, starting to read the book to you as you nuzzled into his chest. You had read the book in middle school, but it had been so long that you wanted to reread it.
