Spencer had smiled at his wife, his arms wrapping around her waist, hers going around his neck. They swayed softly as they stood in the grass outside of Rossi's mansion. Spencer whispered the lyrics to her, as they danced.
Overview
Spencer sat at the table distributing the poker chips as he waited for his children. Y/N looked over at him and shook her head "I swear this shouldn't be how they get their allowances" "They need to learn how to be financially independent" "By gambling?" He smiled and nodded watching as their kids ran down the stairs.
Annalise their eldest had just turned 10 sitting across from her father, she had been playing poker with him since she was 3. Those were some of her fondest memories with him, she insisted that they wouldn't stop playing until she beat him.
Adryn sat next to Annalise smiling at his older sister. He didn't care that much for cards, he would much rather be spending his time doing his homework or reading. The 8-year-old had skipped to the grade just below his sister.
Spencer gave a soft smile to Y/N before dealing out the cards. She shook her head as she watched the scene that happened every month. After about 2 hours of the game, she saw Annalise walking over to her in the kitchen. "I finally beat him" Y/N smiled at her daughter "Congratulations sweetheart, how is your brother doing?" She asked softly knowing that it took forever for Annalise to finally beat him.
"How do I put this, failing miserably" She replied as she watched her mother sigh and shake her head. "Spence that's enough put the cards away" She heard a small sigh before a little cheer coming from her son, them running into the kitchen leaving his father to pick up the cards.
Y/N smiled handing her son his allowance that she gave him for trying. Putting a finger to her lips for him to keep it a secret, before going into the dining room wrapping her arms around her husband's waist. He smiled turning around to face her "You wanna play a round?" She laughed softly before leaning her head on his chest "You always ask that because you always win."
Spencer smiled before leaning down and kissing her lips "Tonight?" He asked watching her body language for any response. She shook her head letting out an exasperated sigh "If the kids are asleep by 9"
