Spencer knew what she was asking just from her look. He smiled softly nodding, "Everything is fine now, I was wondering if you were ever going to wake up"

Y/N

You never really got to admire your engagement ring. It was a small silver band with a tiny diamond atop it. You told Spencer when you two had first started dating, that you didn't like to wear any flashy jewelry, preferring a simple band or a small band with a small stone. Of course, you meant it as to why you didn't wear jewelry but Spencer remembered your preference when looking for engagement rings.

The past couple of months had been a hard adjustment, being pregnant was already an adjustment but having a broken leg on top of the pregnancy was rough. Spencer took care of you but you hated feeling like you were a burden because of injuries. Today you got to get your cast off finally.

It had been about 3 months since the accident. Work was interesting the first month you returned, to say the least, all of your clients wanted to know what happened, so you had to live through the event over and over again. You heard a knock at the door and smiled seeing your best friend. "Thanks for taking me" you spoke as you grabbed your crutches and purse. She nodded and helped you down the steps and into her car.

......

After your cast was off you sighed softly, smiling at your friend as she drove you back home. You rested your hand on your baby bump, you were just beginning your seventh month. Spencer was making sure you were feeling okay and not stressing yourself out too much. He would put headphones on your belly and play classical music for the baby every day. Spencer would read to you and the baby until you fell asleep at night. He was so excited to be a father, you knew he would spoil them and read them textbooks as bedtime stories.

As soon as you got back to your apartment you thanked Elizabeth again before heading upstairs to take a shower. You had taken the day off to make sure you had enough time to relax and adjust back to your life 3 months ago.

After your shower you grabbed one of Spencer's shirts, putting it on before crawling into bed, grabbing one of the books that Spencer read to you at night. You smiled and read some of it aloud to the baby and you. That was until you felt a dull ache almost like menstrual cramps. You took deep breaths trying to calm yourself down.

You felt the ache go away, you sighed and laid back against the pillows. You continued your book finishing up the chapter before setting it back down on Spencer's nightstand. You headed to the nursery looking around at the room, you had set up the crib and changing table. Derek said he would help Spencer with the rest of the items when he got back from their latest case.

The dull ache returned, trying to take deep breaths through the pain. You decided to pack a go-bag for the hospital just in case, you grabbed one of the bags filling it with some baby clothes that Garcia had got for the baby, you filled the bag with everything that you or the baby would need. Heading back to your room, you packed a couple of outfits that were baggy on you.

You smiled setting the bag in the nursery, before pulling on a pair of leggings and laying back down in bed. Deciding to take a nap forgetting the dull aches, that is until it returned stronger than the previous one. You took a deep breath and tried to find your phone dialing Spencer's number, you tried to move around seeing if it would go away as you moved.

Spencer picked up on the third ring "Hi baby, how are you? Is everything okay?" He asked and you groaned in pain uttering out "I think so," you took deep breathes as the pain began to get worse as you talked, you sighed "Contractions shouldn't come this early should they" you got out over the span of a minute. You heard Spencer pack his things up before he spoke "Actually labor can occur as early as 5 months" He rambled off about the statistics.

You groaned again as the pain worsens in your abdomen taking slow deep breaths and trying to relax. You listened to Spencer's voice "Baby I'm 10 minutes away, okay it's going to be okay" he spoke softly trying to calm you down as he drove. That was until you deduced you were actually in labor, feeling your water break. "Spence hurry the fuck up my water broke"

A/N - I know the story is moving pretty fast now, it mostly was because I had no idea what you would do with a broken leg so the past 3 months is up to your imagination.
