I was slowly getting under Pansy's skin, I left poisonous plants I stole from Madam Pomphrey, in her bed which gave her nasty pustules. Which then let me spread rumours that she was carrying a type of herpes.

This then caused her to begin taking out her anger on her loyal followers, which resulted in them running to me to vent about how nasty she was. Slowly but surely, we were getting our popularity back, however some people were still scared of Pansy and didn't want to admit out loud that they would be friends with a muggle born. My last move was to make sure the party I was throwing was going to be amazing, and that needed alcohol, I had promised everyone I could make it happen.

A week before the Slytherin common room party and I still needed to figure out how to get alcohol into the castle.

"Okay so we are almost back in" I say to Anabelle and Cherry as we walk to defense against the dark arts.

"I am so impressed you pulled it off, I have to admit using my prefect duties to intimidate younger years is quite fun" Anabelle says with a laugh.

"The Christmas party plan worked" Cherry says. We got Cherry's parents to agree to a Christmas party at their holiday house over break. The house is huge, and people have been sucking up to us all week at the chance for an invite.

"I told you guys, things are going to go back to normal, I just need to get the drinks sorted" I say feeling anxious. This was something I could be expelled for if people found out, and it wasn't just a simple flask of fire whiskey this was the alcohol for the entire party, money wasn't the issue obviously, but transporting that volume of bottles undetected was tricky.

We take our seats in the class, I see Malfoy and Blaise together at the back. Malfoy looked even worse if that was possible.

Draco's POV

I'm so exhausted, yet I can't afford to let myself feel tired right now. A month has gone by and I'm still no closer to fixing that cupboard. I don't even think I slept for more than an hour last night. The last place I wanted to be was in this stupid class, I should be working on my task.

"you look like shit" Blaise remarks. "what time did you get to bed last night?" he asks.

"I don't know, like 4 am" I say dryly.

"how have you not been caught sneaking around that late" he asks.

"let's just say I have someone looking out for me" I say eyeing Snape.

"well whoever she is, she must be worth it" Blaise says as he chuckles.

"what are you talking about?" I ask jadedly.

"It's obviously a girl you are staying this late for, what else?" he says playfully.

I roll my eyes at him.

"you are lucky, I have been trying get some after dark alone time with Murph for weeks now, but she always has an excuse" he says looking annoyed.

"maybe she's not interested" I growl

"what do you mean, she's constantly flirting with me, touching my legs and arms" he says looking smug.

As much as I didn't want to let myself be triggered by Murph and who she was flirting with, I couldn't help it, because I actually liked having her as my distraction, I liked seeing her even though I wouldn't talk to her. Just like my white peacock I liked knowing she was there. I stared at her sitting a couple tables ahead of us, she twirled a lock of that dark messy hair in her fingers as she tried to concentrate, she made me smile when I saw her getting stressed out when she couldn't figure out a problem, she was the only thing that made me smile these days.
