The last line of that article has been haunting me. Jungkook's ring is described to be just like mine. In some crazy fashion, I think Sara is actually right for once. But who am I? I'm definitely not the wife of a rich, talented, superstar. I don't fit into that category. Fate wouldn't do this to me. . .would it? I've always loved the stage, and people love me on it for my acting and dancing, but I'm not ready to be in the eyes of the world just yet. Part of me wishes to contact BigHit and tell them who I am, but part of me is terrified of sealing my fate.

I pulled up Google and looked up the number of BigHit. Their offices must be flooded right now but I have to try. I dialed the number and took a deep breath. This was it. This is how I find out if he's really my soulmate. I sound completely crazy and the operator is going to tell me that, aren't they?

An automated voice answered the phone with a startling screech.

"Hello and thank you for calling BigHit Industries," the voice said. "Right now, our servers are heavily in use and this could cause timing issues. If you are in no hurry to reach someone, please call again later. If this is urgent, please stay on the line so you may be transferred to the selection message."

I waited for the next message, feeling quite awful for adding to the chaos. Music began playing and I immediately knew the next message may be a while.

I glanced at my computer where my twitter dms were currently being flooded by Sara.

Sara:
Did you see that BigHit is getting flooded with calls and people showing up at the offices demanding to know who his soulmate is?
People are claiming to be his soulmate left and right, it's gross.
Have you considered contacting them?

Me:
I'm on the phone now. I have a feeling it'll be a while.

I closed the lid to my laptop as the voice picked back up.

"Thank you for your patience," the voice squeaked. "Your call is important, and we would like to serve you better. Please indicate what you are calling for by pressing the corresponding number. Press 1 for audition information, press 2 for investment purposes, press 3 for the soulmate search, pre-"

         I pressed 3, automatically shaking.

"As you can imagine, we are receiving many calls on this topic currently. The system has been altered to be able to filter these calls properly," the voice said. "We would like to ask that you do not call again if you are denied access to the next message. If you agree to abide by this rule, please press 1 to indicate that."

I pressed 1. They must be so immensely flooded with calls to have such a system in place. I somehow feel guilty, even though I'm not just a crazed fan.

"Thank you for agreeing," the automated voice responded. "Please enter your first name only into your keypad."

Ah, so this is how they filter these calls.
I took a deep breath and slowly typed AraJoon.

"Please stay on the line as we transfer you to a BigHit representative," the voice chimed.

The fact that it has not booted me gives me a glimmer of hope, as well as so much more anxiety. What was the representative going to ask? The music mocked me as I sit here shaking, its calm vibes in total opposition of myself.

"Hello and thank you for contacting me, my name is Veda and I am one of the soulmate representatives," the woman, Veda said. "As you should know, this process is extremely tedious to make sure that we keep Jungkook and the members of BTS safe. Your name indicates that you have a possibility of being Jungkook's soulmate. Would you be willing to video chat with me, Ara?"

My breath hitched and I slowly agreed.

"Fantastic, Ara. May I video call this number?" Veda asked.

"Oh yes, go ahead." I responded as I quickly brushed myself over.

The call came in and I answered it and was quickly greeted by a smiling woman.

"Nice to see a pretty face today," Veda smiled. "As I mentioned, I'm Veda. Tell me why you think Jungkook is your soulmate."

"Well, my ring says his name. I know other people have the name, but my friend had suggested that I try to contact you." I said, struggling to keep my voice loud enough.

"Would you mind holding up the ring so I may see?" Veda asked, leaning in closer to her camera.

I nodded and pulled the chain towards her, displaying the ring and the name engraved. I watched as a smile formed on her face.

"If you would, text me your address," Veda was smiling ear to ear now. "We will need to send a driver to your house as early as tomorrow morning."

"Oh um...why?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"My dear," she said. "You need to meet him. You are Jungkook's soulmate."
