I was greeted by happy shouts from Hoseok as Jungkook and I stepped into the studio.

"Good morning, bushy eyed lovers!" Hoseok beamed as he brought each of us into a hug.

"Good morning, Hoseok," I smiled.

The two boys exchanged greetings as I felt a tap on my shoulder. Xia stood behind me with a bright smile.

"Good morning!" Xia said. "I'm surprised and delighted to see you here. A great present for an early morning."

I smiled at her kind words, far more caring than anything my brain can put out this early. She truly is a force of nature.

"Good morning, Xia unnie, you look lovely today," I said.

"No need for honorifics, Ara," Xia said. "I don't prefer them with family like the boys do."

I nodded and gave her a brief smile, struggling to keep my eyes away from Jungkook who was now stretching with Hoseok.

"I too am always amazed at Hoseok's body," Xia teased. "That strong pull towards your soulmate is something else."

"Yeah," I nodded. "I could never find much about what it was like to have a soulmate. I was always too focused on the question if I would have a soulmate."

"You doubted it?"

"I did," I admitted. "When I turned 16 I kinda figured it wouldn't happen. But here I am."

"Ah. . .so you don't know much about the strange pulls that start developing?"

I shook my head, confused at what she was talking about.

"The bond of a soulmate is something else," she said. "It creates pulls to ensure the couple is healthy and happy. Your neediness to watch him will never go away once it develops. Your neediness to touch him never goes away once it develops. Your neediness to kiss him. . .you get the picture. There's a reason soulmates are so special. You're a match made in heaven, not likely to fail, and the fates make sure of that."

"So it's like a spell?"

"Sort of," Xia smiled. "Unlike couples like Jin and Sephi, most couples develop this fairly slowly until an event triggers these pulls to activate. I'm actually pretty surprised Jungkook brought you. Their dancing is often a trigger. I remember it was for me."

"What does it trigger?" I asked, curious of this part of the soulmate bond that was never brought to my attention.

"The touch, the kiss, the physical attraction, more or less." Xia said. "I remember that switch flipping for me. I watched him practicing some choreography that he had put together shortly after we met. Before then I had wanted nothing more than a sweet peck on the lips but after that. . .wow."

"Horny pull?"

". . .for lack of a better term, yes." She said, embarrassed at the word.

"Does it still give the same feeling now?"

"Sometimes," Xia said. "It depends on choreography. I think they're doing something fairly cute today though."

I was amazed at the things I never new. These pulls sounded scary and yet so exciting. The attraction hadn't completely formed for us yet, only the small love and affection that of a new couple, as expected.

"Hopefully you'll never experience pulls that of Jin and Sephi. I'm surprised they don't have a bajillion kids," Xia chuckled and glanced at Hoseok. "Their attraction pull has been through the roof since day one."

"Is there any other things I don't know about?" I asked.

"There's only one major thing that I've heard doesn't develop until marriage but I can't speak for that," Xia said. "You'll have to ask Sephi, Jin-Ah, or Ellie about it. They'll probably discuss it with Opal for her bachelorette party in a few weeks."

Suddenly, the rest of the boys piled in, followed by their choreographer. He smiled kindly and introduced himself to me before he helped Hoseok pull out a prop bed.

"We're gonna start with Blanket Kick today, so you can use it as your warm up since I found most of you talking in the halls. . .where's Jin?"

I looked around, surprised that I hadn't noticed beforehand that he wasn't in here. I watched as Xia stood up.

"It's probably Sephi," she said. "I'll go check on them and stay with Sephi so Jin will come here,"

The choreographer nodded and decided to take the time to do extra stretches with the boys, causing me to automatically watch Jungkook in awe. He was so limber and did the warm ups with such ease that I wondered if I would still be able to do certain warm ups that I used to. I did little floor warm ups just to see, starting with a butterfly leg stretch for my hips. In the middle of one of my single legged butterfly stretches, Jin burst into the room, out of breath from running from his dorm to the practice room. He apologized profusely, immediately joining the boys on the floor.

"Sephi had really bad morning sickness and I couldn't leave her," he said. "Xia is an angel for staying with her."

"It's okay, Jin, just contact one of us next time so we can help, okay?" The choreographer asked him.

Jin nodded and proceeded to stretch.

I watched as they pulled out a few stools and and turned on some music to rehearse the song a few times and I watched in awe as they did the cutest dance I'd ever seen.
