January 3rd, 2023

Your wedding day is something you never forget. I'm sitting here, several years past our meeting and it all flashed forward so fast. My mind is swirling feeling like I wanted to relive the past immediately before I walked down the aisle. I'm remembering a lot, even the things I don't document. I never documented the fights or the struggle to understanding how to be intimate again after the incident, at least not fully. Everything that happened, the bad stuff that is, seemed irrelevant as I glanced over at Lena, her zipper being tugged up by Xia.

"Lena, you look gorgeous," I smiled.

"Ah, you do as well," Lena grinned as she spun around.

Lena was about to say something as a persistent knocking came to the door.

"Five minutes!" Yoongi yelled through the door. "Any longer and the boys are going to marry each other."

I chuckled and smoothed out the front of my dress.

"You ready?" I asked Lena.

Lena hopped up and down and grabbed my hand.

"Let's go get our soulmates," she gushed and pulled me out of the room.

I looked around for Jimin, his kind smile shining at me once I spotted him.

As Lena was going to be walked down the aisle by her father, Jimin had agreed to walk me down the aisle. My father had left at a young age, my mother died upon my 16th birthday. So here Jimin was, offering his arm to me. We had grown close in the past few years and he became a large comfort to me whenever something happened with the assault case. In all honesty, I've always been closer to Taehyung and had considered asking him even before Jungkook and I got engaged. Of course the fact we'd be getting married at the same time had changed things considerably.

We had worked it out to where I would walk first, get to Jungkook, and then she would follow. We considered walking down together with her father and Jimin, but the aisle was too small for four people to walk evenly.

The music began and Jimin jumped a bit, excited for the night ahead.

"I'm proud of you, Ara," Jimin said before he tugged me forward, the doors in front of me opening.

There was a lot of people in the room, most of them far more important than I'll ever be. Well. . .at least in my mind. Logically I know that becoming the wife of an idol is a very, very big deal, but in my mind I'm still just the girl staring at the computer screen, admiring the people who are now going to be like family forever.

As I walked forward with Jimin, time stood still as I looked at Jungkook, his smile the brightest thing in the room. Taehyung stood a few feet to his left, a twinkle in his eyes and a kind smile directed towards me.

As we made it to the front, I stepped up and gave Taehyung a kiss on his forehead before I gave Jungkook a kiss on the cheek. I stayed connected to Jimin as Lena and her father made their way down the aisle, a larger smile now on Taehyung's face.

The rest of the members and their soulmates had already lined the front of the room where we stood, their warm smiles making the room a place to behold. And I might add that many people were beholding this sight; several BigHit photographers were placed around the room, taking in the sight with their cameras to immortalize it.

"Now," the officiator said. "Who gives Choi Lena to Kim Taehyung?"

"I do," Lena's father smiled warmly as he placed her hand in Taehyung's.

"And who gives Yuri AraJoon to Jeon Jungkook?"

"I do," Jimin smiled and kissed my forehead before resting my hands in Jungkook's.

I don't know what I expected, but to feel my ring go from my right to my left was much more emotional than I had ever expected. I couldn't recall half the things the ordainer said, all I committed to memory was Jungkook's smile and the feeling of his hand in mine.

"I do's" had been exchanged and my heart was content, the past few years all being captured and condensed into this one moment. Every good feeling, every moment with Jungkook meant something different, something much bigger now. I had doubted this wedding many times but now it all made sense.

"Noona," Jungkook said, his fingers tracing mine as we had just settled into our seats at the reception.

"Yeah?" I looked at him, a grin shining back at me.

"I'm glad you're my wife. . .the fates did me a favor giving you to me and me to you," he said.

"I'm glad you're my husband," I smiled, pecking his lips before tracing the tattoos on his hand.

Jungkook had decided on hand tattoos when Frank came to visit, the letters of ARMY evenly spaced from his index to his pinky finger. Jungkook had already gushed that he wants more and plans on it soon. Jungkook sweetly explained that the acronym stands for much more nowadays and he was proud to have it on his skin.

"Ara~" Taehyung sang. "We're all newlyweds and it's time for pictures before we stuff ourselves with cake and kimchi."

We all shuffled outside to the chill of the January air, getting ourselves posed by the photographer over and over for at least 30 minutes. The entire wedding party, just Jungkook and I, just Taehyung and Lena, just the brides, just the grooms, individuals. . .the photographer went all out.

"Jungkook, no," Taehyung giggled as they glanced at the photo of just him and Jungkook.

"Absolutely!" Jungkook giggled before he asked the photographer something, to which she laughed and nodded.

"What are you two trying to do?" I asked, attempting to wrangle the floof that is my dress.

"Jungkookie is trying to feed the ARMYs in such a bad way!" Taehyung whined.

"It's cute and they'll love it. They love, ah. . .what is it?" Jungkook thought for a moment. "TaeKook! They love TaeKook. We look very handsome and the ARMYs will love it."

"But captioning it 'Just Married' and nothing else is a bad idea!"

"Tae Tae, you worry too much," Jungkook giggled as his phone pinged; the photographer had just sent him the photo.

I giggled as they fought over the photo, my eyes wandering to Ellie who had the tiny Zara cradled in her arms.

"Hi, Ellie," I smiled at her. "How's Z?"

"Sleeping soundly somehow," Ellie giggled. "My parents are supposed to come pick her up soon so Namjoon and I can have a break and enjoy the party."

"You haven't been away from her yet, have you?" I asked and she shook her head.

"It's a first, but a good time for a first," Ellie said. "Plus my parents have been dying to have her stay with them. Don't know how though, they've never heard how loud she can get."

"Sweet Z can't help it," I cooed at her tiny face.

"Ah, there's my parents," Ellie said as a car pulled into the lot. "I'll be back."

I still couldn't believe how perfect little Zara was. It made me wonder what my own kids would be like, however far away that may be. After the miscarriage a couple of years ago, it worried me more and more about if having kids would be possible, but only time would tell. I was excited for children and excited that my children would grow up with so many "cousins" already. With Zara being only six months old, and the twins being just over two, I figured most of the children would be fairly close in age. Except for Hoseok and Xia's children but that would be a whole different conversation for another time.

I let out a yelp as Jungkook hugged me from behind, a smile on his face.

"C'mon, Mrs. Jeon, we've got a party to celebrate the minutes and days ahead," Jungkook said and I couldn't help but smile.
