I woke up to the car pulling up to my house, Jungkook still snoring softly on my shoulder. I ruffled his hair and whispered his name until he woke up, a dopey grin on his face.
"Nice nap, noona?" He asked.
I nodded and unbuckled my seatbelt as he did the same. As we stepped out of the car, I saw Doyun exit the house with an exhausted look on his face.
"DoDo, what's wrong?" I asked.
Doyun first bowed at Jungkook who returned the courtesy.
"Sara is currently doing her hair and would like to ask five more minutes of you two," Doyun sighed. "It's amazing to meet you, Jungkook, I am Doyun, soulmate of Sara."
"Ah, well, as you already know, I am Jungkook, soulmate of Ara." Jungkook smiled.
I turned red as Jungkook slipped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer as we waited for Sara.
"Has she not been preparing long?" I asked.
Doyun chuckled, tired and shocked that I even had to ask.
"She immediately ran over here and started getting ready. . .and we were busy," he huffed. "Really busy."
"Doyun, I'm sorry for your loss," I chuckled. "But Jungkook really wanted to meet the crazed fangirl responsible for me contacting BigHit."
Doyun's phone buzzed and he smiled.
"My beloved is ready," he said. "Shall we?"
We nodded and headed inside where we were greeted by an immediate screech from Sara.
"OhmygodJungkookyou'resoperfect," Sara was barely understandable, but Jungkook still smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Sara," Jungkook said. "You look lovely."
"T-thank you," Sara said. "You know my name?"
"Ara speaks highly of you," he smiled.
Sara shot me a look of amazement. I smiled at her and she jumped up and down.
"How long are you here for?" Sara asked.
"Me?" Jungkook asked. "I um, until sundown I guess."
"You sure you wanna do that drive that late?" I asked.
"It's either that or sleep in the car, noona," he smiled. "I'll go home sooner if you prefer."
"We have a spare bed, Jungkook," I said. "You can stay here overnight and go back home in the morning."
He smiled and agreed, sending Sara into a fit of smiles. She almost seemed more excited about Jungkook than I was, which definitely sounds bad. Sara grilled him on everything, and I mean everything, all night. I finally sent her and Doyun home at 11 as I got the spare bed ready for Jungkook.
"It's very kind of you to let me stay here, noona," he smiled.
"I know it isn't a BigHit fancy dorm, but I hope it's enough." I replied.
"Anything you give is enough," Jungkook pecked my cheek and helped straighten the blanket. "I appreciate it very much."
I know I'm meant to spend the rest of my life with him but I have butterflies. Fate didn't make the natural instincts stop. I had flashes of what Sephi told us about the night she met Jin and the heat on my face spread. That wouldn't happen but the even slightest thing had me turning into that little girl fawning after Jason again. Except this time, I was wearing the ring of my soulmate and fawning after my fate.
"I'll turn in, I have practice in the morning." He smiled and brought me into a hug. "Goodnight, noona."
"Goodnight, Jungkook," I said. "If you need anything, wake me up."
He nodded and kissed my cheek again. After many thanks later, he went to bed and I returned to my room. I played with the ring on my finger as I laid down, trying to process what had happened today. My phone buzzed from my side table and I reached to grab it.
