Story 9: Merry Quarantine!

                                                                                                                                Matt 's POV
Alaska woke up, completely out of it. He had barely gotten any sleep that night from worrying about pretty much everything. "Alaska?" A voice asked, as Alaska turned over to see who it was. "Hawaii?..." He blinked his eyes a bit to see his little sister, Hawaii looking at him. "Gosh Alaska, you look like you barely slept last night." Hawaii was always overprotective of Alaska, but just wait till you see when Alaska gets overprotective of Hawaii. "Come on, get up big guy." Hawaii struggled to pull Alaska up. "Hawaii, you know there's know way you're gonna pull me out of- OW!" Hawaii had finally managed to pull Alaska out of his bed. "Did you really just have the strength and will to pull me out of my safe spot?" Alaska asked while getting up. "Of course I did!" Hawaii looked like a six year old who was proud of something incredibly stupid they did. "Well you have  online school, don't you?" He replied while grabbing his ushanka. "Meet you out in the kitchen." She said while walking out of his room. Alaska looked up at his calendar. It was December 1st! "Oh no." He mumbled to himself while leaving his room.

Alaska's POV
I walked into the kitchen and sat next to Hawaii. The room looked like a room with completely different people. Everyone was talking to each other. The election REALLY fucked a lot of the states being with each other, so it felt good for once. Due to virus just not getting better, the schools in the Countryhumans world were closed. "Ok, so your online class times should be on the whiteboard, and if you have any other reminders, you can write them on the board or tell your phone to remind you, also, unnecessary things are not allowed on the board. And stay home." The other states and I ate our breakfast ask Ame talked about a few more things. Delaware went to the pantry to go get some Nutella, but the jar was gone. "Where's the Nutella guys?" Louisiana looked at Florida, knowing damn well he had the jar. "I can explain!" He exclaimed with Nutella all over his face. While Louisiana started attacking him with a spatula, Ame tried to make them stop, but little did he know that that shit ain't gonna work.

                                                                       Hawaii's POV
Apart from the cold weather, I love winter! Especially Christmas, the suspense of wondering what you got for Christmas, decorations, wrapping gifts and SNOW! But Christmas can also be a disaster. Last year, Florida jumped on the Christmas tree and knocked it down just to get the star on top of the tree. Not the most honourable solution, but it worked, and I am personally inspired by that act of bravery. I grabbed my switch, walked over to the couch and sat down while Delaware was reading and Pennsylvania was watching TV. "Wait, don't we have online class in 10?" Pennsylvania asked, looking at the clock. "We could make up a reasonable excuse and play Mario kart." Delaware suggested. "I mean... We are the only states from the US in that class... Tell the teacher we have some internet issues and can't join today and grab your switch. I'm about to kick your ass." Pennsylvania said, getting out her phone to send the email. "I wanna join!" I exclaimed, saving my animal crossing so I could play some Mario kart. Pennsylvania brought out her and Delaware's switch. "You're on."

Texas's POV
"Texas?" I jumped a little and nearly fell of my chair. "Please pay attention, you will be tested on this material." The teacher said in a stern voice. "Sorry." I mumbled, I nearly fell asleep, I accidentally FaceTimed Moscow all night... ok... I did it on purpose. Why wasn't Moscow tired, you ask? He wasn't even there, he texted me a few times, and I had to pretend I was listening while texting him. Thank god for voice chat. Eventually, the teacher asked how to do something. "Press E and shift at the same time." (I think that's how it's done) And he did it, he had accidentally left the meeting with my help. Now to FaceTime Moscow until the end of time.

Pennsylvania's POV
"YES! I WON AGAIN!" I yelled as I won the crossing cup. "Penn, you've won every single cup we've played." Delaware said before letting out a big sigh. "Well, that's your problem, not mine." I replied. "Screw this, I'm gonna play animal crossing. You want my dodo code?" Hawaii was pretty bored of losing too, I guess. I grabbed the case for my switch and switched the game cartridge. Delaware and Hawaii were already playing it. "I got Bianca to move in, now I have all the villager types on my island!" Hawaii exclaimed. "Wow. Now can I get a dodo code?" I asked. She gave me and Del her dodo code before we started playing on her island. And let me just tell you, Hawaii's island was pretty cool, but it was only still at 4 stars, which she was mad about. But then again, Delaware is infamous for that time she got to 5 stars by placing wooden block chairs everywhere, and I salute her for that.

                                                                                                                            New York's POV
"WILL YOU KEEP IT DOWN?!" D.C yelled, even though I was trying to do something more important than his work, singing Hamilton songs "Non-stop" (You'll get it if you're familiar with Hamilton-) As soon as he walked past the room, I started singing again. I think he hates me even more now, but screw it, he doesn't appreciate the true beauty of musicals. Cali walked past my room while I was singing and boy, do I hate him for this. "Hey! That song is from TikTok!" I looked at him. For a long time. He looked at me. "I swear to god if you say that once more I'm gonna drop your phone off the roof of this mansion!" Cali looked at me like I was crazy "Ok, chill dude." He said before walking downstairs. "Dinner's ready in 5." I looked at my alarm clock. "Coming!" I exclaimed. Now we could talk about our boring day, and persuade Dad to put up the Christmas tree.

Finally! The 9th story is done! And in honour of the 10th story and over 1k views... we'll be doing a special story! The story will be called "An old couple and 50 idiots" The plot? Britain and France watch the states for a few days while America is away. And you know how crazy the states are. Actually, fun fact, I had a lot of motivation for this story! So that's why I finished it quick! And another fact, this was originally "Glow" But apparently I struggle writing deep stories, so yea. That's all. Like always, Matt, signing off. Bye!
