The next morning, Ron and Electra walked hand in hand onto the Quidditch pitch. She wished him good luck, leaving a kiss upon his lips before going to sit on the stands. Ron made his way over to Harry and Hermione who were standing outside.
"You didn't come back last night," Harry said to his best friend with a smirk, Hermione's eyebrows remained in a frown.
"I stayed in Electra's room last night," he replied simply, they weren't on the best speaking terms since Electra's accident.
"Why are you still even speaking to her after what she did to Harry?" Hermione snapped.
"Why am I still speaking to Harry after what he did to her?" he snapped back at her.
"Ron's right," Harry interjected, "I almost killed her...I shouldn't have been so reckless, it was understandable she wanted revenge. Plus, as hard as it is to admit this: she is a nice girl. She's definitely changed since fifth year...apart from when she pinned me to the wall after that Hogsmeade trip..." he frowned, remembering her getting angry over his accusations of Draco. Ron chuckled beside him.
"Yeah, she's a tad bipolar at times," Ron added.
The three of them looked over and the bright girl sat on the stands, Draco Malfoy now sat beside her and they were engrossed in deep conversation.
"Those two have been joint at the hip this year though," Harry added, curious due to his strong suspicions on Malfoy this year. "Does she tell you anything about what he might be up to?" he asked Ron, who shook his head in reply.
"If Malfoy was to tell her something top secret, she'd never tell me. They have some weird bond,"
"Do you reckon she knows anything?" Hermione piped up. Ron shrugged in reply.
"I don't think so. He seems to always need her for something, whenever we hang out she's either got somewhere to be with him after or 'running errands' for him,"
The three of them continued to observe the two Slytherins, who were now in fits of laughter. Electra's beautiful face beamed into a big smile and she hunched over slightly in laughter. She playfully punches Draco's shoulder, only for him to playfully shove her back, his mouth mirroring her large smile.
"I think that's the first time I've seen Draco Malfoy smile all year," Harry comments, Ron nods with a small smile.
"I think he's incredibly dependent on her," Ron replies.
"Right, good luck boys!" Hermione pats their backs, before making her own way to the stands. She takes her seat on the stands, just in front of Electra and Draco, Electra gives her a small smile but Draco just ignored her.
"I can't believe you're betraying your own House to support Gryffindor," Hermione heard Draco snarl behind her.
"I'm supporting my boyfriend's team. I don't really care about Quidditch," she replied.
"Yeah well, newsflash, your boyfriend is a shit Keeper" Hermione heard a thump and Draco groan in pain, Electra had seemed to punch Draco because of his remark.
"Oi! He's been practising loads!" she defended, a small smile appeared on Hermione's face. She found it sweet that she defended Ron to Draco.
"He doesn't need practise, he needs a miracle," Draco muttered.
The game began, Electra didn't know much about Quidditch, but whenever Ron stopped a Quaffle she jumped out of her seat and cheered.
"WOOOOOOO!" she screamed when Ron stopped yet another goal, "See he's doing great!" she said to Draco with a smirk, who just rolled his eyes at the response.
Demelza Robins had the Quaffle and tried to throw it over to her teammate, only for a Slytherin Chaser to intercept it and gain possession of the Quaffle.
"Ugh! Stupid Mudblood!" Electra yelled, now getting into the game. Hermione's eyes widened, shocked at her sudden use of the word.
"Don't let your father hear you say that," Draco chuckled beside her, she chuckled back slightly.
"Yes, if only I ever actually saw him," she remarked sarcastically, but Hermione could sense the bitterness in her voice.
Gryffindor won by a landslide, much to Draco's disappointment, but Electra cheered so hard her throat hurt at Ron's big win.
"I need to go congratulate him," she said to Draco as they left the stands.
"There'll be a big celebration thing in the Gryffindor Common Room, usually the team meet us all in there after they've showered and changed," Hermione turned round to tell her. Electra nodded and smiled, before looking up at her friend next to her.
"I'll meet you later then, Draco," she said, he reluctantly nodded and walked off in the opposite direction.
The Gryffindor Common Room was booming, and the Quidditch team hadn't even arrived yet. Music was blaring, students were drinking and Electra felt incredibly out of place. She dawdled at the drinks table for a while, a cup of punch in her hand, watching the Gryffindors party. Hermione was off chatting to her friends, leaving the poor girl awkwardly alone in a room full of students who most certainly hated her.
Sooner enough, the team came rushing in, cheers and chants filling the common room. Ron's name filled the space, everyone chanting his name over and over. Electra joined in, chanting and clapping with a grin on her face, watching as her housemates lifted him into the air. Ron had a large grin on his face, lapping up the attention as everyone chanted "Weasley is our King!". Electra laughed at her boyfriend above, clapping and whooping with pride. Finally he was placed back down on the ground, only for Lavender Brown to pull him onto her face, violently crashing her lips on his.
Electra's eyes almost pop out of her face, her jaw then drops when she sees Ron doesn't pull away. All of a sudden she felt completely isolated in the room, everyone around her cheering the two on whilst she stood alone, tears spilling from her eyes. No one comforted her, just looked at her, no one dared to ask her if she was okay. She quickly turned on her heel, pushing through the crowd to leave the common room before she did something she would regret. But before she could leave the room, Luna Lovegood stepped in front of her;
"Oh Electra, are you okay?" she asked with care. This question caused Electra to snap. She shot a spell back in the direction of Ron and Lavender, then ran out the room in tears.
Electra ran through Hogwarts Castle in tears, looking weak, something she's never looked like when roaming these halls. She ran up the stairs, desperately trying to get to the seventh floor, left corridor without a soul seeing her in this state. She slams open the doors of the Room of Requirement, immediately Draco's head snaps up to her, his eyes frowning at her state. He stands up from the cauldron he was sitting by and strides over to her, she shakes uncontrollably and her breath is so quick she might hyperventilate.
"What has he done," Draco spits.
"Snogged Lavender Brown," she managed to say between her disrupted breathing, "Right in front of me. In Front of everybody."
He pulls her into his chest, her tears soaking his shirt as she cries into him as she wraps her arms tightly around his torso. He wraps an arm around her shoulders, the other hand strokes her hair protectively.
"What do you want me to do to him?" he muttered under his breath, Electra chuckled and pulled away from his chest to look up at him with her big, sad eyes.
"Just make me forget, Draco," she whispered up at him.
Her eyes looked up at his, a pleading look about them. He ponders for a second, his hand still in her, he lets it trail down the side of her face. He wipes the tears off of her face with his thumb, then it finally rests on her chin. He tilts her head up and pulls her face towards his, pressing a soft and sure kiss upon her lips.
