Captured By Him

~KABANATA XXIII~

"How's your sleep?" Master groaned when he suddenly opened his eyes, rose from sleeping.

"Fine, you?" I huskily said and bend my elbow to see what time is it.

Six A.M.

"Good," he muttered and hugs me.

I don't want to admit but I'm sleepy because of that hanging shadow. I grin when notice him hugging me again.

"Clingy ka ba talaga Master?" Ngisi kong sabi.

"What?" Nag-angat ito ng tingin sa akin pero nakapulupot pa din ang kamay nito sa bewang ko.

"Or it's your natural attitude?" Dugtong ko. He buried more of his face on my neck.

"Just shut up and let me hug you." He said.

"Just admit it already Master." I tease.

He ruggedly hummed. I bend my left elbow and rest the side of my head on my hand to saw him clearly while teasing him.

"You like hugging me-"

"What's the fuss?"

"You like cuddling-"

"Shut up already."

"Snaking your arms on my waist is your thing, isn't it?"

"Physical touch makes you healthier, reduce stress and boost the immune system. Based on the studies." He pointed out.

"Ewan ko sayo Master, inaantok ka pa ba?" I ask him while his head is leaning at my chest already. Arms snaked on my waist.

"Hmm-hmm," he hummed.

I brush his hair with my hands, both of us still tangling on bed sheet when suddenly I remembered the hanging shadow there on the cottage.

"Let's get up, nakitulog na nga tayo tapos tanghali pa tayo tatayo, isa pa, kung hindi kasi mahina tolerance mo sa alak ay baka naka-uwi tayo kagabi." I said while the hem of my shirt is lifting up of his hands.

I glared at him but he only smiles at me. My stomach and half of my brasserie shows up, he plants some feathery kisses on my stomach.

"You don't sleep well last night." He stated.

I nod and brush his hair thoroughly.

"Having a nightmare?"

"No, but I wonder if you'll believe me if I say that I saw a hanging shadow there on the cottage last night." I burts out, he stopped and tilts his head to look at me.

"A hanging shadow?"

I nodded then tilt my elbows to sit in the bed before resting my back on the bed frame.

"Yeah, I don't barely believe on ghosts but... Ah, whatever."

He just looks at me while I'm playing ny fingers on his palms. When I was a kid, I admit that I'm scared of ghost, but it faded when I grown-up. Pero mukhang nabalik dahil kagabi.

"Nakwento kasi kagabi ni tita Gabby 'yung sa nagpakamatay dati doon sa cottage. Nagbigti daw, at first I thought it was a story, but I saw the shadow last night. Ang lakas kaya ng tibok ng puso ko 'no!" I laughed.

"What time?" He ask.

"Around eleven of the midnight? Basta mga gan'un, bakit?"

"It's raining last night right? Maybe it's just a coconut's leave."
