Clutching his mothers' book tightly, Midoriya did his best to keep up with the quick footsteps of the girl in front of him. The seemingly endless forest supposedly had a certain tree where important spells were cast for the first time. Though its not like he could blame her; the freckled boy was quite excited himself. Today was the day. The day he'd finally use the book.Hopefully. They still didn't have the wand after all. Even if they don't practice anything, just seeing the tree is enough.
Soon enough, Ochako started to speed up. 'we must be close!' The boy thought, now sprinting as well.
A few more twists and turns, and they stopped, arriving at their destination.
"This...is the spell tree!" the brunette spun around and lifted her hand up to show the 'spell tree'. Hues of green ferns and fauna crowded the tree; its branches outstretched, with glowing balls of yellow light on most of them. Surely bigger than expected, but it truly was magical.
"The actual spell-spot is on the other side, follow me!" she skipped along the narrow path as Deku followed, colorful spores along the ground.Indeed it was, a cauldron coated with vines keeping it in place, smaller tree stumps around it like a mystic ritual.
"This is so cool!" Deku finally spoke, Uraraka chuckling at the nerdy undertones in his voice.
"I felt the same way when I first came here with my parents." The girl sat down on one of the large tree roots and the latter sat on a stump. She continued;
"I was young, but all this really stuck with me. My folks said that all magic users use this place to meet up and practice together. It's kinda wholesome, isn't it?"
Midoriya nodded, taking out his journal and leaving the third note today;
'Spell tree is used for witch gatherings(yay!)'
Ochako didn't see what he was writing, but respected his privacy. She got off the bark and picked up a book and wand on the far side of it. It was her spell book!
The sudden movement of the brunette made Izuku look up at Uraraka, her book in hand, flipping through the golden pages. He stepped up and gazed at her wand. The staff was quite large, and looked to be more of a walking stick. It was basic; tree bark matching her hair, curving into a circle with a peach ball of energy in the middle. With a small phoenix feather tied to the shaft, it still looked quite pretty.
"So does...does that actually work?" He pointed to the wand is if he were a child. She nodded, and was about to speak when,
"There you guys are!" A small yet familiar voice called. Turning to where the voice came from, a small ball of blue light quickly turns into a girl; Nejire.
They were almost happy to see her, until they noticed the worry on her face.
"Hadou, what's wrong?" Midoriya asks. She turns to Ochako, and utters; "She's here."
