" Hey El, Why is your shirt wet?" Percy asked flatteringly, distracting her from the situation. She had thrown a fit about being kidnapped by a group of friends. Archer practically had to hold her down from jumping out of the car.

She huffed with pouted lips and gave Percy a you-will-be-six-feet-under death glare. She then looked away, out of the window of the last seat. It was Romalda who shook her and asked the same question.

" Honestly El, stop being a pain in the ass and tell me why is your shirt wet?" Romalda scolded and Elara gave up the silent limbo state of hers and started talking-" I ran into my ex-best friend and she had a breakdown, precisely on my shoulder." Elara explained. Romalda's words re-ran in her mind.

" Hey you almost sound like my mom, she's always like " Elara, stop being a pain for us and get out of our hairs." " She sassed and shook her head thinking of her mother.

Jasper sighed and turned to Archer from the passenger seat-" What time is it?"

" Its, um three forty-seven, We'll be there about nine-ish?" Archer said and it came out more like a question. His breathing got heavy when Elara kept her head on his broad shoulder and turned to face him, staying in that position-" Still not going to tell me?" She whispered in a voice like honey, her innocence in her green orbs glistened from within. Archer almost gave in,almost.

" Nope Sunflower." He replied pulling her closer and kissing her hairs and forehead. He felt a hand being kept on his chest and he smiled warmly. He looked up to see Romalda smiling speedily at him and Jasper mouthing, "You're so whipped!"

Yes, indeed he was. He did not even know that he was falling for her. Falling for everything she was, Perfection.

He was the only one who could see the heavy emotions pooling behind the poker face she kept. She used to smile a lot as a child, yes, he knew her since they were six.

They had never talked then, but Archer had always admired her, silently through his childhood and his early teen years. He smiled when he could hear light snores. She snuggled into him and shivered a little. The coat she was wearing in the morning had vanished. Archer softly lifted her head and swiftly took off his jacket and wrapped it around her and closed the duct of the Air conditioner.

After a few hours, the car finally stopped at a motel by the countryside, barely decent but would do for what they had in mind. As the car halted, Romalda turned to Elara to wake her up but Archer held his palm straight out, protesting against it. He lifted her head lightly from his chest, she had drooled a little over him which he found rather cute than disgusting. He lightly placed his one arm under her knees and the other around her back and lifted her with so ease as she was a delicate flower, only a lot stronger.

They went inside the not-so-decent motel and booked a single room for two hours. Inside the motel, there sat a receptionist, dressed in a tight yet professional outfit, looking out of the place as the peeling paint and ancient furniture did not go well with her navy blue formal outfit. She looked a lot like Elara in the formals, only Elara was way beautiful than she was.

" Second floor, third room on the right." The receptionist smiled and handed Percy the key.

" Bro, you'll have to wake her up, quit drooling over her!" Jasper punched him on his shoulder and Romalda sighed looking at Jasper, she liked him so much but she was such a pussy  to tell him how she feels. When he flirted with other girls, her heart ached and tears threatened to fall.

She sighed and looked away, and Jim gave her a bright smile and wrapped his arm around her.

" Hey, don't be sad, okay? It's our friend's big day, so no crying, like ever!" Jim cheered her while Percy opened the suitcase they had brought and started throwing everyone's clothes at them.
