" No-no nope, I'm not drinking, no way!" Elara yelled and returned the beer bottle back to Archer. Everyone looked at her and made a face. Percy did not even wait before taking a swing and downing half the bottle within seconds.
" Come on Nova loosen up a bit and enjoy yourself!" Jim whispered before clicking bottles with Archer and they both gulped down the beer. The stranger girl was hell-bent on making her take a taste at least.
"Consider me as your drunk driver." She made an excuse cringing in her mind thinking how stupid it sounded. Everyone laughed and Archer gave her a nudge.
" No one is driving Sunflower. But it's fine if you don't want to drink." He said and kissed her on top of her head. They hadn't talked about what they were yet, but both knew, deep in their hearts that what they felt for each other was not just infatuation. Archer really wanted to be with her and unaware of that fact she had grown a little insecure about how he feels. She sat on the broken chair which was dumped on the terrece along with shit load of other broken and useless stuff. She pulled out a strip of gum from her unnecessarily large bag and chewed on it watchin the group of friends making jokes and playing stone, paper and scissors.
Totally drunk.
She thought of calling Sebastian but it was quite late he might be asleep or busy doing stuff. She checked her phone and her eyes nearly popped out and fell to the floor, it was fucking two in the morning. The rest of them had no rekon of time or care for anything. If they would be caught by even a school guard, it was sure as hell they would be suspened for drinking.
She worried herself by thinking of the image of her begging and crying in front of the whole school and the principal just to forgive her while Skylar, Mellisa and Avery smirked at her.
" Guys, guys, listen up, we need to go!" She whisper-yelled at them and held Archer's hand and attempted to pull him up.
Heck, he was strong.
Instead of pulling up Archer, Archer had pulled her down and she ended up on top of him straddling. He was surely so drunk and would have never done such a thing if he was sober, would he?
He pulled her closer and she stiffened when his arms went around his waist and had a tight grip on her. She was so close to his face that his lips were gently touching with his. Her breathe hitched up in her throat as he looked in her eyes with pure desire.
He then came closer and his lips touched with her ears and she sucked in a deep breathe, all the unknown feelings whelming up in her. He husked in her ears before he kissed it lightly-" What are you doing to me sunflower?" A whiff of beer she had caught and the state of her mind changed back to 'mission salvage the drunk'
" Archer, w-we need to go before we all get caught and get suspended." Elara panicked and got up pulling Archer along with her. Archer leaned on her and snaked his arms around her waist," Sunflower you smell so good, god! I still remember you dancing in that yellow little dress that you wore in third grade , you look beautiful since I've seen you." He slurred and Elara had a hard time controlling herself but she had to do it. She helped Archer onto a chair and went to the others, they were sleeping piling on each other. On top was the stranger girl who hadn't introduced herself yet.
" Hey, hey come on get up!" She yelled into her ear making her jump awake. She looked at her with a hurt expression, clearly offended for being interupted. Elara whispered the situation in her ears and also the plan which they were going to execute.
Archer sat silently holding his face with his palms and looking dreamily at Elara and smiling like an utter maniac would do.
According to the plan and to save their drunk and sober asses, Elara went and collected beer bottles and the trash in her bag, while the stranger girl went to wake the three bulky men stacked over each other pancakes.
