" Adnes is not coming with you? Skylar, we're not friends but any sane person would tell you this! What about your personality is so important that you can't take Adnes to a party?" Elara barked into the phone and pacing around her room. Today was an off-day at school so Elara thought to sleep in and get more than just four hours of sleep, but Skylar had other plans. Plans like to steal Elara's number from Romalda's phone and call her at 7:38 in the morning and that too, to confess that she would not bring Adnes to the party at school.
" It's none of your business, you nerd!" Skylar shouted from the other side on the phone, and that was it, Elara hung up and threw her phone on the bed, and held her head. It hurt badly, she had almost completed a month with just four hours of sleep and she could feel her brain eating itself.
There was a knock on the door, even if it was open. She lifted her head to see her dad and smiled a little. Her dad did not return it but instead, a look of worry came to his face as he rushed to her," Are you okay Nova? You don't look so good."
" Dad, how did you study astrophysics? I can't even keep up with highschool!" She stated with a hysteric chuckle as he sat beside her.
" I know that you stay up all night, your mother does too. We know that you are really working hard for your future, but Nov, take a moment to yourself. You don't have to be the best at everything you do and I want to let you know that we accept that and we are proud of you." He finished and kissed her head lightly.
"Okay, dad. You know my friend Romalda right?" She asked and he nodded listening intently to her daughter.
" She made a huge fuss about the Halloween costumes. We all got into a fight and after an hour we decided to be the characters from the office and I'm Dwight Schrute. My boyfriend is Angela." She continued to rant and her dad listened with a smile on her face.
" Anyways, aren't you guys decorating?" She asked her dad and he replied," Yes, want to help?"
Elara nodded. Her mom had decided to go with vintage horror, classy, elegant, yet scary. There were golden colored webs all over the house. Skulls were dipped in metallic copper paint and decorated with jewels from the dollar store. There were black and white photos with golden vintage-looking frames all over the hallways. The porch was fashioned with extensive candles with ancient-looking holders. Overall, her mother had put a lot of effort into it.
" Take a shower before you go, Dwight, the copper paint is all over you." Her mother fussed and her dad chuckled and shook his head.
" Very funny guys!" She said before disappearing into her room. She showered and dressed in her dad's old mustard yellow shirt and her own grey coat and pants. She also tied the very odd patterned tie around her neck. To complete her look she tied her hair in a bun and pulled on her wig and come through it, she also fixated on her nerd glasses which resembled Dwight's.

"Sit still Holly, my Polly, dolly, rolly, bolly..." Romalda imitated Micheal Scott holding Jasper down in the make-up seat. Jasper rolled his eyes at her running his fingers through his blonde wig.
Archer just sat in shock, looking at how he looked. His face was caked with Romalda's make-up and lips painted red. The blonde wig didn't do wonders, but he really did look like Angela.
" Dwight Schrute, assistant regional manager. you guys look disgustingly satisfying." Elara imitated Dwight entering Romalda's room. Everyone looked at her and approved.
" Assistant to the regional manager." Jim corrected pulling down the sweater he wore.
" Where are the props, we have exactly fifteen minutes to get in the car and zoooooom away." Elara asked Jim and Percy who clearly hadn't adjusted to the foundation on his skin.
