GlItCh in the game (William/Glitchtrap X reader)

Ch 3. The confrontation

         Glitchtrap had been waiting for you to come back, though it had been about a week since you were last in the game. Well, that was his guess anyway, time was weird in the game. He was getting bored, he had walked through all the games, found shortcuts in the code, and decorated his room. He wanted you to come back, he didn't like being alone in here. "MaYbE tOuChInG tHeM wAs A bAd IdEa." he said to himself "HoW wAs I sUpPoSeD tO kNoW tHeY wOuLd FrEaKe OuT??" he grumbled. 'It'S nOt LiKe I kNeW tOuChInG tHeM wOuLd WoRk, ThErE iSn'T aNy InStRuCtIoNs FoR tHiS.' he thought bitterly. Glitchtrap started walking around the game once more with nothing else to do but wait for you to return.

       You were still super scared from Glitchtrap touching you. You didn't bother telling anyone about it, knowing they wouldn't believe you. You hadn't gone back into your gaming room for a week, or upstairs for that matter. Sleeping on the couch has been a bit uncomfortable sure, but otherwise living downstairs was fine, better the risking whatever the f**k was going on with your game. You didn't want to go upstairs and risk finding him there (you weren't sure if that was possible but still). He might attack you or something, and you wanted to live.

     You didn't want to think about it to much, but looking back, he seemed just as surprised as you when you two touched. You weren't 100% sure, mainly cause you freaked out and threw your headset across the room. Even though you tried not to think about your interaction with Glitchtrap it kept coming back to the forefront of your mind. You were laying on your couch, staring at the ceiling. Nothing to do but think, which was very boring. So, your stupid brain decided to go back to Glitchtrap, after a good 25 minutes you sat up with an idea. Rational thinking had been thrown out the window, you climbed the stairs two at a time and went to your gaming room.

     Your safety be damned, you wanted to know what was going on. You picked up your oculus, grabbed the controllers and loaded the game. Looking around you didn't see Glitchtrap so you went back into dark rooms, since you never finished plush baby's dark room you decided to bide your time by trying to finish the game. You actually managed to finish the dark rooms and went to night terrors, confused on where Glitchtrap was. After playing for a hours you finished normal mode of Help Wanted, flipping to day glow mode you started playing fnaf 1.

     Little did you know Glitchtrap was there, he was just stalki- I mean watching you from afar. He didn't want you to freak out and leave again, he didn't know when you'd be back and he couldn't stand to be here alone again. He knew you were half way through with finishing the game and that he'd have to interact with you again. Until then he wanted to figure you out a bit more, he wanted to know your name, how you keep getting in and out of the game, and most importantly, if you could get him out.

     You made it all the way through fnaf 1-3, parts and service, and vent repair. Once again back at dark rooms, you wanted to play but were a bit tired. "I should be fine, I'm almost done anyway, it won't take to long." you said to yourself. "I haven't even been playing that long anyway." 'I also STILL haven't seen Glitchtrap and I need to know how the hell he touched me' you thought '....maybe I can get his attention somehow......I have a brilliant plan' instead of going into the darkrooms you looked around and after still not seeing Glitchtrap you took a deep breathe and put your plan into action.

     Glitchtrap was confused. He had been watching you play but you had suddenly stopped playing. He knew you couldn't see or here him, he made sure of that. He started to pay attention again when he heard you talking to yourself "They do that a lot.....why?". "I haven't even been playing that long anyway." you said 'HaVeN't BeEn PlAyInG fOr ThAt LoNg? ThEy'Ve BeEn PlAyInG fOr 9 HoUrS hOw ArE tHeY nOt TiReD?' he thought. He was confused, did you really believe that it hadn't been that long? You had gone quite again and looked around. Glitchtrap slid back a little further, making sure that you couldn't see him, whatever you were doing, you weren't gonna catch him stalk-WATCHING you from afar.

   "GLITCHTRAP!!!" you yelled. Hoping that would get his attention. "Shit!" you heard someone yell. "Who said that, who is there?" you asked into the game, still not seeing anything. You were met with silence "I know you're there, I heard you." you said, hoping you'd get another response. Then, you heard it, Glitchtraps glitching sound. You looked around again but didn't see him, it was like he was hiding. You looked to Glitchtraps doorway and saw him, he was hiding half behind the doorway. You two just kinda stared at each other for a while. You looked behind around again, maybe there was something else here. When you looked back Glitchtrap was closer, half way to you.

   "Hello?" you said quietly, not sure if you wanted an answer or not. Once again there was silence, this seems to be a recurring theme here. After a few minutes of just staring you looked back at the games, contemplating just continuing playing the game. You have now learned that looking away from Glitchtrap is a mistake because when you looked back glitchtrap was even closer, right in front of you to be exact. 'He is needlessly tall in this game' you though, with him being a foot taller then you. "HeLlO" Glitchtrap said, you flinched back, not expecting him to talk, well, actually, you kinda did expect him to talk but that's not the point. 

    "WhO aRe YoU aNd WhAt ArE yOu DoInG hErE" he asked, not sounding all to happy. Still shocked that he was talking to you you didn't respond, which made Glitchtrap a bit more annoyed. "YoU yElL oUt My NaMe ThEn YoU dOn'T sAy AnYtHiNg, DoN't WaStE mY tImE" Glitchtrap said, slightly growling. "I'm (y/n), and I'm here to find you." you said quietly, concerned about upsetting him more. "How were you able to touch me?" you asked, maybe he knew and would tell you. He was quite for a bit 'Does he not know how to answer questions?' you thought 'He has done this every time I've asked a question.'

    Instead of saying anything he quickly reached out and grabbed your neck making you panicked and grabbed his wrist and arm. You both stared at where you were touching "YoU gRaBbEd My ArM" Glitchtrap said quietly, still in shock "And you grabbed my neck." you said back. Glitchtrap let your neck go and you let go of his arm. An awkward silence fell between you two and you both looked to the side. "HoW dId YoU gEt HeRe" Glitchtrap asked looking at you again. "My oculus, this is a VR game." you told him, not sure if he knew he was in a game or not. 

   Glitchtrap looked thoughtful for a moment. "I kinda have to go, it's probably late and I have to go to work tomorrow." you said, hoping he would let you leave. "WiLl YoU cOmE bAcK" he asked, catching you off gaurd. "Um....sure, i guess. I have some more questions I want to ask anyway." you told him "GoOd" he said more to himself then to you. You lifted the oculus off your head and set it down, along with the controllers. "That was interesting." you said to yourself "Better then I expected if I'm being honest." you went to your computer to see what time it was. "It's 2am!?!?" you yelled "I didn't think I had been playing that long." you left the gaming room and went to your bedroom. 

    "I don't think he can get out of the game, since he asked me if I would come back. I'm sure I'll be fine." you said as you got your pajamas and laid down. You sighed, happy to be back in your bed. You drifted off to sleep relatively fast after being up later the you planned and finally not sleeping on the couch. 

This is my longest chapter yet, I'm over 1,400 words. Sorry it took so long to get out, I'll try and update sooner-Pumpkin
