GlItCh in the game (William/Glitchtrap X reader)

Ch. 8: Feelings

       It had been a few weeks since yours and Williams first date. Waking up had been a bit awkward, with him having to explain that he stayed to help with your nightmares. You two had been on 3 other dates since then, none of them ended up with you sleeping in the game again but they did start lasting longer. William was, well, he was charming. He would constantly ask your opinions on matters and would always be a gentlemen. It surprised you to say the least, you didn't expect him to be so nice. You were glad you gave him a chance.

      William was ecstatic, this was working out better then he planed. You were obviously getting very comfortable around him and soon he would be able to switch places with you and take your place in the real world. He was close to learning how to take over your body and then he could leave you in here. He was slightly remorse with the idea of leaving you here, knowing how bad it can get when you're alone.

     Looking around the source code William sighed in frustration, all he was seeing was things he already knew. He traveled further through the code eventually he wasn't able to see anything of the game, he wouldn't know if you came in. Sighing again William changed his form to Glitchtrap, it made it easier to travel through the code.

      You decided to surprise William today, usually he was the one to ask you on a date but you decided it was your turn. You put on your VR and started the game, it took longer to load but you didn't pay it much mind. When the game finally loaded you were in the main area, you sat down and waited, William never took to long to stop by. You sat and fidgeted with one of your controllers, William and said it made your hand look super weird to him but you didn't know what else to do.

         After about 10 minutes of waiting you got concerned, William never took longer then 5 when you entered the game. You stood back up and tried to think of a way to get his attention, there wasn't anything you could really do though. Shouting didn't actually work, he wouldn't hear you. Leaving and returning to the main area also didn't work, William could never be spawned anywhere by the game.

       Actually.....that last one wasn't entirely true....you switched to day glow mode. Going to dark rooms you say the maze game. William said he didn't know what would happen, didn't know if he could actually kill you in the game. He could drag you into the game so you weren't sure either. You took a deep breathe 'He would never hurt me.' you thought reassuringly to yourself. 'And if something does go wrong I can always leave the game.'

       Telling yourself the backup plan always helped calm you down. Knowing you had a way out if things went bad was always a good thing to have. You looked around one more time but still didn't see William. Steeling yourself you clicked the pizza party maze. You were uncomfortable as the game started, you weren't concerned about not finishing soon, you knew the directions to take, you just didn't know what would happen with William.

       Making your way through the maze was easy, you knew where to go. Making it to the end of the game you weren't even sure this would actually summon William or not, or, well, summon Glitchtrap to be precise. You stood by the animatronics and waited. Your waiting paid off, it turned out that your plan had worked, Glitchtrap walked in from behind the curtain. Except, he didn't seem happy.

                  Glitchtrap was sifting through the code, trying to find any clue on how to get out. He might have found something, what the programming of him was supposed to do for the game. "I gUeSs ThAt MiGhT wOrK" Glitchtrap muttered to himself.  He copied down and went to find anything else that might help him. He was wishing this whole virus in a game thing came with a handbook or something. Being an evil murder bunny carrying around his corpse was easy....well, not when Henry was trying to light him on fire.
