Justin, Hannah, Ernie and Sirius were in one of the clothes shops of Hogsmeade, gathering the finishing touches for their yule ball outfits, when they met Theo and Blaise.

Theo was hidden slightly behind Blaise shyly, as though he was worried about something. Blaise had a tight hold of his hand.

"Hey Blaise, Theo!" Sirius greeted them brightly as they joined them by the bowties. It seemed all the boys were in need of a new tie.

"Hey guys." Blaise smiled at them. "Can you help me convince Theo to go to the ball."

"Why don't you want to go?" Justin asked gently, pausing from where he was deciding between a white bowtie and a purple one.

"I just..." Theo sighed.

"No one is going to hurt you, I'll be by your side the whole time." Blaise added.

"It'll be fun." Sirius added.

"Theo you can't let them stop you from enjoying yourself." Hannah added.

"If they find out..." Theo couldn't even finish his sentence.

"I'm going with Ced, Dean and Seamus are going together, you won't be the only ones." Sirius added. "Come on, show them you're better than them."

"I... okay." Theo nodded. Blaise smiled and hugged him softly.

"I'm so proud of you."

"Alright boys and Hannah, I guess we all need help picking ties."

"So who are you going with anyway?" Blaise asked, "obviously the whole school knows who you're going with Sirius."

Sirius went red. "Its kinda annoying, do you think Harry's found out yet?"

"I doubt it, that boy is the most oblivious person I have ever met." Hannah replied. "I'm going with Justin." She added. Justin nodded.

"Ern hasn't actually told us yet." Sirius said, looking pointedly at his friend. Ernie shrugged.

"I actually asked Millie, she said yeah." He told them.

"Oh my merlin!" Hannah clapped her hands. "You and Millicent would be so cute together!"

"As friends." Ernie said pointedly.

"We're going as friends too." Justin nodded.

"Theo and I are together." Blaise shrugged, Theo went red and hid his face his Blaise's chest. "Thanks for helping me talk him into going."

"Its no problem, it's going to be fun!"

"Cedric, you can't come with me!" Sirius told his boyfriend, who frowned.

"Why not? I'm not letting you go alone." Cedric argued.

"Jane and Ollie will be there." Sirius continued, he didn't want Cedric to meet Aro face to face, and he certainly didn't want him there when he was inevitably punished by Aro.

"Oh that makes it a hundred times better." Cedric said sarcastically. "No I'm still coming with you."

"Cedric I don't want to argue with you." Sirius sighed, stopping walking completely.

"Then don't, just stop trying to stop me, I'm not letting you meet him alone. I don't trust him and I don't like the fact that you have to meet him." Cedric said adamantly, he offered Sirius his hand. "So why don't we go?"

Sirius looked at the determination in his boyfriends face and relented. He couldn't stop him, no matter what he did. "Okay." He took his boyfriends hand and continued down the corridor. "The death eater is here."

"What did you say?" Cedric frowned, sirius looked at him with an equally confused look.

"I didn't say anything." Sirius replied.

"You said the death eater is here." Cedric told him.

"No I didn't." Sirius shook his head.

"It must be you collecting information, I didn't think Hannah was serious when she said you didn't remember it." Cedric was amazed. "We need to start writing things down."

"Well, if you want to." Sirius said wearily as they reached Aros favourite secluded part of the castle.

"There you are boy, who's this?" Aro seemed shocked by Cedric's appearance, as though he hadn't foreseen it, despite his climbs that his seer was very good.

"I'm Cedric, Sirius' boyfriend." Cedric offered Aro his hand. "Nice to meet you sir." Aro looked him up and down, and then glanced at the horror in Ollie's eyes that no one else had noticed.

Aro shook Cedric's hand. "The boy, what did he say?"

"He said 'the death eater is here' I'm not sure what that means." Cedric replied.

"He thought he saw a death eater when we were in Rome." Elias was stood in the corner, Sirius jumped, clutching his heart.

"Eli! What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I go here Sirius." Elias told him gently. "Did he give a name?"

"No, he also doesn't remember saying it. Is that normal?" Cedric asked.

"No." Jane said definitively.

"Thanks." Sirius said with a defeated sigh.

"Wait." Aro helped up his hand as he inspected Sirius. "Is it just generic information?"

"I think so." Cedric nodded, glancing at Sirius with a worried look.

"It might be his body collecting and not wanting to keep the information if it's not specific enough." Aro finally said, let me check, come here boy."

Sirius stepped forward nervously, he knew Aro was just going to look though his mind, but he still didn't like it. Aro pressed his fingers to either side of Sirius' head and Sirius felt his head burn as all of his knowledge and information and memories flashed through his mind.

"Strange." Aro said, letting go of Sirius. "He has no recollection of it at all."

"So is that bad?" Cedric asked.

"You need to keep a record of this, it could be important." Aro turned to Cedric. "You need to take note of what he says."

"So... what exactly did you call us here for?" Sirius asked.

"I need you to become better at duelling. The dark lord is trying to return and eventually there will be a fight." Aro told them. "You have to be proficient in hexes, curses and spells, healing spells especially."

"You think there will be a fight?" Jane looked nervous.

"When the dark lord returns there will be a fight, and we have to win." Aro told them. "And if you are not capable to defend yourselves and our legacy you will ruin everything I have worked for."
