"Are you okay?" Elias asked. They were sat at the Colosseum, Sirius hadn't said very much since he had noticed Barty Crouch the death eater, who had confused him completely.

"What? Yeah I'm fine." Sirius looked up from where he had been staring at the floor as though it would give him the answer he wanted.

"Was he looking for you? That death eater?" Elias asked, Sirius looked at him.

"I don't know."

"If he's trying to get you know who back, and kill your brother, you would be good bait." Elias told him. Sirius frowned.

"Thanks."

"I didn't mean it like that!" Elias rolled his eyes. "Penny for your thoughts." He pulled a euro from his pocket and placed it into Sirius' palm.

"I dont think anyone has actually paid someone for their thoughts." Sirius replied, but he kept the euro anyway.

"Come on, you look really worried." Elias nudged his arm gently.

"I just have a bad feeling." Sirius replied, he felt like something bad was going to happen, like a darkness was coming.

"It'll be okay." Elias told him. "Darling look at me." Sirius turned to look at him. Elias caught his chin with one hand. His fingertips were smooth and warm. "Its going to be okay."

"I'm scared." Sirius murmured.

"Its okay." Elias brushed Sirius' hair gently. "We've got this."

"I need to..." Sirius stopped suddenly. "Aro... stop." He gasped for breath desperately.

"You have disobeyed me boy." Aro appeared in front of them, Elias looking from Sirius to Aro, before grabbing hold of Sirius desperately.

"Please..." Sirius choked out. Elias glared at Aro.

"Stop it!" He shouted, surprising Aro, who finally acknowledged him.

"Elias Swan." He released Sirius from the spell he had put on him, that starved him from oxygen. "What do you want from the boy."

"Nothing, we're just connected he and I." Elias replied, helping Sirius up. Sirius grabbed his arm breathlessly.

"You will not take him from me." Aro said to Elias, who stared back at him. "I have a claim on the boy."

"Eli." Sirius muttered, trying to alert to Elias that something was wrong.

"Its okay darling." Elias whispered to him. "He is not an object to be claimed." Elias added, before he shook his head. "I need him okay, I just need him."

"If you try anything, i will know." Aro said. "I want you where I can keep an eye on you."

"That's fine." Elias nodded.

"Then you must stay with us, I dont trust you Elias Swan, but I want to keep an eye on you." Aro said as he disappeared. Elias stared at where he had been for a moment, before turning back to Sirius, who was slumped against the rock they had been sat on.

"Sirius?" He asked gently. "What do you see?"

"So much pain." Sirius muttered, whatever Aro had done to him had triggered his gift of reading the energy trapped in the layers of the buildings around him and collecting the information.

"I know, I know." Elias lay down beside him. "Its gonna be okay." Sirius moved his head so he could look at him.

"If you know who really comes back... how do we fight him?"

"I don't know, but the death eaters are talking, whispering really. Somethings coming." Elias replied. "But we will defeat him, we have to."

"I hope so." Sirius nodded. "For all our sakes."

"Come on, let's go." Elias stood up suddenly, dragging Sirius up after him. "Let's go and have some fun."

Having Elias in the house had put Ollie on edge. His estranged elder half brother and he had never gotten along, but the way he had wormed his way into a friendship with Sirius made him feel sick.

Elias was not to be trusted, and Ollie didn't want him corrupting Sirius, they needed the boy to be focused, to choose them. Not to be fed ridiculous ideas from a boy who couldn't even handle living under his fathers roof for the sake of his younger siblings.

Ollie was currently pacing outside Sirius' door. Jane had called him crazy and paranoid, but he felt like he had to protect the boy from Elias.

Slowly, Ollie finally decided to open the door and peak inside. The light from the hallway splashed onto the figure of the sleeping boy, who looked far too small in the double bed he had been provided. His breathing was steady, and he lay on his side, facing the wall.

Crossing the room carefully, Ollie reached the bed, contemplating waking the boy, under the guise of checking up on him. At last he did, the confusion and slight panic in the boys eyes quickly turned to simple confusion, but he did not seem worried. Ollie liked that, it meant Sirius trusted him again.

"Ollie?"

"Sorry to wake you Sirius, I was just checking up on you." He said. Sirius smiled sleepily at him.

"You worry too much."

"You had the illness less than a year ago Sirius, I should really be running some tests to make sure it stays gone." Ollie fabricated. It wasn't a total lie, doing so would make sure the illness was gone. "I haven't seen much of you to make sure you're okay."

"I'm fine Ollie, I promise." Sirius told him.

"That's good, hey do you want to do some training with me tomorrow?" He offered, knowing that if the boy would be with him, he would not be spending time with Elias.

"Yeah, sure that would be nice." Sirius nodded. "Not until after breakfast though."

"I wouldn't dream of doing it differently." Ollie smiled at him. He stood up. "Alright, I'll let you get some sleep, sorry for waking you up."

"Its okay Ollie, you were worried. You're a good friend." Sirius told him. Ollie smiled back weakly and closed the door.

It hadn't really been exactly what he was going for.
