Chapter 3

*after dinner around bed time*

I realized once it was time for bed that we didn't have an extra futon. I blushed at the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Tsukki. My imagination ran wild with different senecios of laying with him. Snuggling, kissing, ... what am I thinking.

I shake my head ridding myself of my thoughts. My face is now a vibrant shade of red that is definitely noticeable to Tsukishima.

"Um... so... we d-don't have a f-futon so uh we will have to share the bed."

"Okay." Tsukki said with a bored expression as he finished changing into his pajamas. I didn't even notice that he was changing due to my heinous imagination.

Third Person POV:

Tsukishima then got into the bed without another word. Yamaguchi following suit. Yam's face burning a scarlet color. They decided to talk for a few more minutes before drifting into a world of slumber.

*Time skip to morning*

Tsukishima's POV:

I woke up to sunshine on my face. I squint my eyes to block out the sun as I try to flip over. I notice a pressure on my chest. Immediately I looked down to my abdomen to find what was causing the weight there. I freeze seeing a head of messy green/brown hair on me.

'Ya-Yamaguchi' I thought as my breath hitched. With a red face I watched him rise and fall with my chest as I breathed. Deciding to let him sleep longer, I continued to watch him in his slumber.

As I laid there with Yams on top of me, I thought about my soulmate. I really haven't thought much about it other than that I want it to be Yamaguchi.

While these thoughts were running through my head, I looked down at Yam's sleeping face. He looked gorgeous in the sunlight; I could see all his freckles shinning like stars. Oh, how I wish I could lay with him every day.

My thoughts get cut short as I feel Yamaguchi shifting. I fake sleep as he starts to wake up. I could feel him tense up as he noticed what he was laying on.

Yamaguchi's POV:

I woke up on something squishy and warm. I open my eyes and freeze as I realize that I'm lying on top of Tsukki.

'He's so comfy I don't want to move. He's also really warm and he smells good. Ahhhh what am I doing.' I felt Tsukki shift slightly underneath me which sent me into a panic.

'Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! I have to get off of him before he wakes up! It would be so awkward if he woke up to me on top of him.' I move off him and lay on the bed beside him. I watch him quietly to make sure I didn't wake him. After a minute of silence, I feel Tsukki shift again and open his eyes slowly.

"Good morning. How did you sleep?" I ask trying to hide my anxiety.

"Good I guess." He answered back with in a scratchy morning voice that gave me butterflies.

"That's good! Is there anything you want to do today?" I asked him while sitting up on the bed.

"Not really." He answered with a shrug as he sat up as well, putting on his glasses.

"How about we have a movie day? We can watch dinosaur documentary's if you want." I say with a bright smile as I knew he would enjoy that. He just nodded his head slightly with a small blush and a tiny excited smile.

I got up to go get my laptop so we could watch some movies.

*Time Skip*

After 10 hours of movies and documentaries, they decided to get up and eat dinner. After dinner Tsukki went home, much to Yams disappointment.

On the way home Tsukki though about how much he enjoyed the day he spent with Yamaguchi. Thinking about how he looked when they woke up in the morning and how excited he looked at the movies. Oh, how he wished Yamaguchi was his soulmate.

Tsukki got home and went up to his room to finish his homework, even though he could just do it tomorrow. He quickly finished, took a shower, and laid in bed. While he was laying there all he could think about was how he wished he could be snuggling with Yamaguchi again. After an hour of think and debating if he should text Yama or not, he decides he should just go to bed. As he was slowly drifting off to sleep, he heard his phone buzz. He opened his phone only to see

1 notification from Yama

He opened the message and read

Hey Tsukki I had fun yesterday and today. I hope you had a fun birthday 😊

Tsukishima smiled slightly at his phone. He did have an enjoyable birthday all thanks to Yamaguchi but he didn't need to tell Yams that.

So, he answered

Yeah whatever

Go to sleep.

And thus they both fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
