Tsukishima's POV:

(Back to morning)

I wake up and smile remembering today is Yamaguchi's birthday. I quickly run around making sure I have all the supplies and gifts in my bag. I check and make sure that I have all the snacks in a separate bag for on the bus. After gathering everything up I looked down at my arm to see 'Hello' written in black. "No Fricken Way." I say slowly as all the possibilities of what this means flows into my head. Is it him? Could it really be Yama? Oh goodness it can't be. There is no way.

As I was freaking out, I realized I should probably write them back.

'Hey' I write with the nearest pen. Almost immediately I see new words start to show up on my arm

'How are you today?' is what I see when the writing stops.

'I am okay. I just woke up.' I write back. It wasn't really a lie but it wasn't the whole truth either.

After that they didn't say anything for the next few minutes which made me a little confused until I saw the time. If I didn't leave soon, we would be late. I gathered my stuff up and went outside to wait for Yama. As I was waiting, I looked down at my arm again just to be sure that, whoever my soulmate was, didn't write anything. There was nothing on my arm but I starting thinking about who it could be. There was a high possibility that it was Yama, but then again it could be a coincident. As I was lost in thought I heard the loud patter of footsteps and ragged breathing. I look up and see Yama sprinting towards me. As soon as he looked up, I yanked my sleeve down so he wouldn't see the writing from this morning.

After he slows his breathing, we start walking to the school to get on the bus. After a few minutes we reached the school and everyone shouted happy birthday at Yamaguchi. Then Hinata stole him from me and they started talking.

'Oh, how I wanted to give Yama a hug like that. I wanted to be honest with my feelings but I just couldn't.' I thought to myself. Then I started thinking about how I would set up everything for the party once we got to Tokyo.

Everyone got on the bus and we started heading for Nekoma. I slipped on my headphones and tried to muster up the courage to ask Yama if he wanted the snacks, I bought him. After a few minutes I felt something on my arm so I looked down to see what it was.

'Hey sorry I didn't respond earlier but I was running late for school. I'm going to a volleyball training camp today and I had to run to my friend's house to make it on time.' was written on my arm. This was even more evidence that HE was my soulmate. Even though I have more hope for it to be him I still didn't know for sure. I looked to the side to see Yama glance at me. I quickly pulled down my sleeve and asked if he wanted some snacks.

This was perfect I diverted his attention from my arm and got him to see I had snacks for him. After I pulled out the snacks we started eating and talking. Suddenly I felt a weight on my shoulder.

Yamaguchi had fallen asleep somehow and now he is resting his head on my shoulder. I internally scream as I am trying to keep calm and still. I look around and see that a few other people are sleeping. Daichi then looks around and sees Yama asleep. He comes over and we start talking quietly about the plans for the party.

We talked for a few minutes and then Coach Ukai told us that we were close to the school so I shook Yama awake and cleaned up our seats.

*Time skip to after the bus ride*

After we arrived at Nekoma for the training camp, we all got off the bus and started to get our stuff together to take inside. Kuroo and Kenma came out to greet the team and showed us where we would be staying at. Tsukishima and Daichi walked over to Kuroo to talk to him about the surprise party for Yamaguchi, but everyone else was still in the dark about it. Especially Yamaguchi. When he saw Tsukki go over to Kuroo and leave him it hurt. It hurt a lot because he knew that Kuroo was better than him, but he didn't want to be replaced. Yama quickly walked over to the trio in an attempt to join the conversation, but as soon as he walked over, they stopped talking and just stared at him silently. He felt like an outcast.
