Chapter 5

"Come back... Accident...."

As soon as Zee heard his mother he went blank. He could guess the accident really caused big damages or else at least his mother wouldn't tell him to go back. So he didn't waste any moment and immediately went to the airport. Luckily someone just cancelled a ticket to Thailand so Zee bought it with high price as it was emergency.

After arriving Thailand he knew he couldn't call his mom as she was not in proper condition so he called his bestie Sai. Yes they were still in touch and he knew Sai would know exactly what happened as he was taking care of Zee's parents at his absence. Sai received his calls and only told him to go to Bangkok hospital, Chiang Mai and disconnected the call. Zee was getting anxious as he couldn't understand the real situation. He took a cab and hurried to the hospital.

Sai was waiting in front of the hospital. He took Zee in front of the ICU where he saw his parents crying. He was confused as his parents were both safe.

"Dad mom what happened?? Why are you both crying?? Who has gotten into accident??"

His dad just indicated to the ICU. The doctor came out and asked for Zee. Zee was confused but went inside ICU after following safety procedures. On the ICU bed he saw Hwa in a real bad condition with so many pipes and machines attached to her body. Saying he was shocked was an understatement. He ran towards the bed and whispered shakily,
"Phi... What happened to you,phi?? How did it happen??"
A tear run down his cheeks. Hwa slowly opened his eyes.
"Zee... You have come... You..."
*Cough cough*
"Phi don't talk please... You're hurting..."
"My time is running Zee .. I have to talk... I'm going to your p'Tor... But my baby doesn't have anyone after me... So I was waiting for you before going to meet your p'Tor... I know I can rely on you for my baby..."
"What do you mean by that?? Where is p'Tor??"
"He is waiting for me... Promise me Zee you'll look after my baby... I don't have time Zee... Please promise me fast...." *Cough cough*
"I promise phi... Don't talk now please... You're really hurting..."

Hwa smiled sadly and closed her eyes... The machines started beeping crazily... Zee frantically called the doctor... The doctor rushed in but it was already late... They declared her dead...

Zee walked like a zombie and went out of the ICU... He sat down abruptly and tears flew down silently...

Suddenly he turned towards his parents and asked them about Tutor... His parents were silent and started crying more... He turned to Sai and asked him shaking his shoulders....

The doctor came and said," We're really sorry... We tried our best to save Mr. and Mrs. Sattakhun(Tutor's surname)... But we couldn't save any of them...."
Zee's world came crashing in front of him after hearing this. His p'Tor and p'Hwa both were dead... Now he understood what Hwa was saying inside... He started to shake badly and let out a heart clenching sob....

After crying for some time he remembered his promise to Hwa and immediately wiped his tears... Then he asked his parents about Tutor and Hwa's son....

"Where is the child mom?"
As if everyone remembered about him after hearing Zee....
"The child is in our house"
"Ok I'm going to him.. Sai can you please take care of everything here?? I need to see the child.."
"But son how can you manage alone?? You yourself is a child of 19..."
"I have to mom... I promised p'Hwa"
"I'll go with you"
"Ok mom"
"Then son take your mom with you.. I'm staying with Sai to take care of the procedure here"
"Ok dad"

Zee and his mother went to their house. But they were somehow worried seeing the front door wide open. They hurried inside to see what's wrong. The house was fully dark. Zee and his mom searched the full house for the child but couldn't find him. Zee and his mother became worried and started searching for him outside. Zee didn't know what pulled him towards the park where he first met Tutor. And to his surprise a child was sitting just at the place where he was sitting all those years ago. He felt sad seeing the child sitting alone.
"Hiii... Why are you sitting here alone? Are you lost?"
The child said nothing only shook his head.
"Then why are you sad?"
"I don't talk with the strangers. "
"But you know if you share your sadness would decrease. "
"Hmmmm.... You are handsome so I guess I can talk to you."
Zee was getting the feeling of déjà vu.
He smiled sadly and asked "What's your name, kid??"
"Saint..."
