A South Indian Romantic tale ( BOOK COMPLETED )

Loving him!!

  I am happy that I am married to Kathir and I hope he is also!! And...

Kathir:  The thing I wanted to say is....

  And we heard some footsteps approaching us and the talks and laughs of people!!

Me: You better go now, we can talk this later!!

Kathir: Mmm... Ok !!

   Kathir went out of the room, and I pinned my saree !! And went out of the room!!

And the day went by relations and village people visiting us!! And, it's a ritual that the bride should leave to groom's house on the day of wedding!! And...

It was nearly 4 pm in the evening,
       
              And everyone gathered around me , while meena and Jeeva mama went to Meena's house to perform the ritual, and some of our relatives went there, and me and Kathir gathered around by our family, and relatives, and village people!! Radha anni and Raghu mama went to their house to welcome us!!

Amma: Anu!! Take care of everyone there!! Behave respectfully!! And take care of yourself too!!

  My mom was teary and everyone was but everyone looked confident that kathir will take care of me!! And I was also!!

Appa: Mapillai ( groom) take care of Anu!! I know u will but as a father I have to say!!

  He patted kathir on his shoulder while I hugged my mom!!

Venba: Akka, I will miss you!! Who am I going to sleep with at night!!

Me: Venba!! U are going to make me cry!!

Banu: Me too!! But remember I love you and we love you!!

Me: Banu!! Please stop!! I can't tolerate!! I am going to cry!!

Aunt: It's about time you guys leave to your house!!

  I hugged my mom, sisters, appa !!! And tears welled up my eyes and me and Kathir got in the car which was decorated with roses  for us to go and we sat in the car!!

  Kathir patted my shoulder comfortingly and I leaned on his chest!! I started to cry!! Eventhough I can still be with my family I felt sad and wanted to cry!! And soon I wiped my tears as we reached the house!!

  And we got off the car smiling  widely!! And Jeeva mama and meena akka came at the same time!! Radha Akka and Raghu mama, kanna , athai, Thaatha everyone was there!!

  Radha Akka took aarthi ( It's a indian tradition to welcome the groom and bride) and welcomed us!! First jeeva mama and meena akka went!! And later me and Kathir went!!

Inside we seeked the blessings of the elders!! And sat in a chair!! And had some sweet!! And later my mom and everyone from my house came!! And we all sat and had some rituals in which everyone gives their gifts to us !! And we accepted it 😊 But I didn't get alone time to talk with kathir!! So I still don't know what he wanted to say!!

At 9pm,

      Most of our relatives went to our house, Swathi, mom, stayed with me!!
Meanwhile meena akka stayed with her mom and sister!! While Radha Akka travelled to both the areas!!

Me: Amma!! The wedding is over!! Why are you guys getting me ready? And anyway no-one is here!! Then what is this for??

Amma: Anu!! Don't be a little child!! Haven't u studied..... what is that called Swathi?

Swathi: Reproduction!!

    And I understood what they are trying to do now!! I may want to become a English professor!! But my next favourite subject is biology!! So this means it's my first night!! I know a little about first night!! I mean biologically!! But I don't know much!!
