Sarawat sighed, he had had a long day at work. Meetings after meetings until he decided the very outline of the whole project he had acquired recently to various teams that are gonna work with him on that project. He had given or taken a week's work left in Phuket but he had been all in favor of staying a little longer, for work purposes only. of course
And well, other things.
It had already been a little over a week that he had come here and he soon would be needed in Bangkok for all the pending work piling on his desk. He had also started to look into the industries that could help him with his new plans for Business setup. He wanted to build a space agency and collaborate with the Government for future space adventures of the country, he was always fascinated by the idea of exploring space, and being able to make it happen was something he always dreamt of. He had been saving up for a very long time now, things were mostly in the initial stage right now, but he will be ready in the coming years. Finally doing the one thing he had wanted for a long time.
He had thought about spending his time with Tine but he was out with his team shooting in a rural area for the night and Sarawat had decided to sleep in early, he had a final meeting with the finance department early in the morning.
His phone's ringing halted his plans for a second, he picked it up from the bed he had thrown it on when he was going in for a shower, the caller's name halted his train of thoughts.
"P'Sarawat, hello" Cheryl's sweet voice filled his senses and Sarawat froze for a moment.
"Are you there?"
"Uh, yeah-hello, Cheryl"
"How are you? Have you been busy?"
"I am good, good. And I have been busy these days" with your brother.
"I am sure, P'Type told me that you cracked the final deal with the investors, I always knew you could do it"
"T-Thanks, Ai'Cher" Please. Don't be so kind to me.
"Have you been eating well?"
"Yes, how are you though? How is your final project coming along?" he asks her, curious.
"It's going great, I have been researching a lot right now, it will take some time to rearrange everything, my paper is almost ready"
"That's good"
She was busy doing her final project report for the final semester for a while now, busy with her studies. So she never tried to contact him. Both of them respected each other's personal space and work, a lot.
"P'Wat, can I ask you something?" there was a slightly worried hesitation in her voice that bothered him
"Yes?"
"Have you seen P'Tine?"
"What?"
"I mean, you both are staying at the same guest house, right? Uh-he has not been taking our calls for a few days now"
"I saw him yesterday. He is doing fine Cheryl"
"Yeah, he must be crazy busy, he does this when he is very busy but he always picks up my calls"
Sarawat was silent trying to find something to calm the girl.
"I am overthinking, don't trouble yourself Phi, he just might be very busy. I will hang up now, it's 11 p.m already, you must be tired"
"Cheryl... I will tell him that you were worried"
She was quiet for a moment "thanks"
They hung up and sarawat laid down on his bed. The striking realization of how different both of them were was looming over him. He let out a tired sigh, he had brought this. He had pushed Tine to the point that he was avoiding his Little sister. While spending so much time with Tine he had understood two most important things about him, one, Tine hated hiding, and two, he hated lying.
