You awoke with a start, hearing the sound of dishes clanging against the ground. You sat up, seeing that Peacock was still sound asleep. You groaned, swinging your legs over the edge of the bed and standing shakily, making your way to the kitchen.
You yawned, taking light steps as to not be too loud. You squinted, seeing that the light was on. Daniel stood in the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinets and drawers, "Dan'? What're you doing?" You asked tiredly. He jumped in surprise, turning to see you, "Oh, hello, N/N."
You waved weakly and walked forward, tripping over a pan. You caught yourself, standing up and looking at your friend, "Why are there dishes on the floor?" You asked. He waved a hand dismissively, grabbing a cup, "I was looking for a glass, but couldn't find any. Guess I'll just settle for this plastic cup." He chuckled, making you smile.
"Anyway, I'm going back to bed. Goodnight." You yawned again. Daniel hurriedly grabbed your wrist, "Wait!" He said frantically. You turned, a confused look on your face. "I-I just thought you'd like something to drink too." He said, a small grin on his lips.
You stared for a minute, before shrugging, "Sure thing. I'll just have some water." You said, turning around to grab another cup for yourself. You were tired and barely aware of your surroundings. That's when you felt someone wrap a hand around your mouth and wrapping an entire arm around you, so your arms stayed to your side.
You struggled, kicking at the person. You pushed your weight on them and they stumbled. You turned, seeing Daniel aiming a punch to your face. You dodged, moving backward into the sink. He neared you, a wild smirk on his face.
You growled, kicking him in the under-belly and sending him back. You grabbed his arms and held them behind his back, slamming his head to the floor, "Peacock was right. We shouldn't have trusted you."
You quickly grabbed an electric cord, wrapping it around his arms and legs multiple times. You rushed to go get everyone, but felt a spike of pain in you neck. You ran your fingers over the spot, feeling something lodged in there. You pulled it out, seeing, "A fucking tranquilizer.....da...rt....?" Your words slurred as your vision hazed slightly.
You struggled to hold yourself up and stay awake. You tried to get back to your room, but you fell over when a foot knocked you down and rested on your back painfully. You slowly turned your head, trying to get a good view of the culprit.
"Get the subject to Lab 0. She is highly important and we need her. Hurry!" The sound of quiet, rushing footsteps could be heard all around you. Your eyes were forcing themselves closed, but you tried to keep them open long enough to at least see their faces.
But, your struggle ended once your blinked and darkness consumed your entire being...
"Boss, get up!" A voice called anxiously. Someone shook Peacock's shoulders, trying to wake her up as fast as possible. Her black eyes opened, blinking multiple times. She rubbed them, grumbling in annoyance, "Avery, what is it?"
"Y/N! She's gone!" Peacock sprung up, running out of the room and seeing tons of of officers, detectives, and Lab workers huddled in the kitchen and living room area. "What's goin' on?" She asked in fear.
"Patricia. We have to tell you that...last night, Y/N was abducted." Big Band put a hand on her shoulder. Peacock ignored him, in a state of shock. She pulled at her hair, mumbling quietly, "No, no, no, no, no, no. S-She can't....she isn't! She ain't gone! Please, tell me this is some dumb ass prank!"
Everyone stared, guilt and sympathy in their expressions. Peacock pushed her hair back, her world shattering before her eyes. "This is all my fault. If I had just...ARGH! Why am I so useless!?" She thought to herself angrily.
"And Daniel has also vanished. But, in Y/N's area, it shows signs of a struggle and injury. But, there is nothing showing that Daniel was harmed in any way. He could possibly have been in on this kidnapping." An officer explained to Peacock, Big Band, Valentine, Hive, and the rest of the scientists and subjects.
Peacock's eyes lit up with fire. She knew he was a dirty liar and a traitor. She shouldn't have let him off. She clenched her fists tightly, feeling the fabric of her rubbery gloves tear ever so slightly.
She walked to a detective, snatching some witness, alibi, and evidence files. "I need ta' find 'er. I don't have time for this shit. I lost 'er once and I'm not loosin' her again." She grumbled, rushing out of the Lab entrance with her hat and coat.
