T A D A S H I

I sighed as I loosened my tie, walking into the hotel elevator and pressing the button.

I rubbed my eyes and pulled my phone out of my pocket, opening it, I groaned to see that my inbox was sitting at 26,837 unread emails. The number keeps getting bigger and bigger, but I would rather pretend they don't exist.

I dialed my assistant's number and began calling her, "Hey Jasmine, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing good, I heard about the attack, are you and Y/n okay?" I smiled, "Yes, we're both all right. Have you set up the phone line yet?" She chuckled, "Actually, I'm working on that right now. The phone company had trouble connecting the number to the line, but everything is solved now. It should be up and running later tonight. Are you ready for your presentation tomorrow?"

"Yes, and I'm excited. This might be the best one yet, and thanks to my ability to keep secrets, no one has any idea what it could be. Which makes it all the better in my opinion."

"Yes, I agree. And I'm looking forward to hearing about Y/n's reaction to it!"

I walked out of the elevator doors and down the hallway, I rummaged through my pockets to find the key, once I unlocked the door and walked in I let out a breath of relief. Now I'm finally able to relax and not worry about cameras or reporters or bloggers or the mess of the media.

I put the key on the table by the door, "Y/n? Shoto?" No response.

Their door was shut, and I don't know if I want to open it, but I did promise Y/n I'd tell her when I got home.

I walked over to their door and knocked. No answer.

I slowly opened the door, the lights were still on, as well as the TV, playing the end of an episode on a Netflix show.

They were fast asleep on the bed, his arms wrapped around her tightly. Both of them had smiles on their faces.

And looking at them, Shoto cradling her as she rested her head on the crook of his neck; I couldn't help the bright smile that adorned my face.

I walked over and turned the TV off, setting the remote on the stand. I grabbed the blanket laying on the end of their bed and gently placed it over them, careful to not wake them up.

I turned the lights off on my way out and softly closed the door, still smiling.

I know I should probably be more strict about what they do, like sleeping together with no shirts on, I know dad would've been livid if he knew about this.

But I noticed it the first time they actually went out on a date, and she brought him back to our house afterwards to continue hanging out. The way she smiled at him, so genuine and bright.

To be honest, it took me off guard. We were both affected by our parents deaths and that entire tragedy, but she took it the hardest. At first, she blamed herself for their deaths. It was the most difficult thing I've ever had to go through, to watch her truly believe that it was her fault.

Slowly though, after many, many, talks, I got her to stop blaming herself. She was still absolutely traumatized, and hurt, and torn, but at least she wasn't deciding that she deserved that pain.
