Y / N

I hear a familiar jingle playing from wall speakers, ripping me out of my sleep.

"Good morning Y/N, it's 6:30 a.m., and 74°F in Tokyo, Japan and is mostly sunny with some clouds; overall a beautiful day for your first day of school.

You asked me to remind you to wear your uniform and not your normal clothes. Tadashi has asked me to remind you that your backpack is on the first floor at the kitchen bar."

"Thanks Oliver."

"My pleasure. Would you like me to start the shower?"

"That would be great."

I sat up and stretched while yawning, looking out of my floor to ceiling windows at the city below. I heard the shower water begin running in the bathroom.

(To clarify, Oliver is a digital helper. Like Amazon Alexa or Ok Google. But Oliver is much more advanced and was created by Tadashi, and is fit for the Fukuhara family specifically. Think of it like Jarvis from Iron man.)

I stood up and walked to the bathroom, closing the door and stripping my clothes before hopping in.

"Oliver, turn on my shower playlist please! I could use a little music in here!"

I heard some songs start playing and I sang along while washing out the shampoo. I finished washing my hair and washed my face, and finally my body. Once again, attempting to, and failing to scrub away the scars they left behind.

Huffing with a sigh, I am now in a much worse mood. The song suddenly stopped and was replaced by my favorite song. A song that never ceases to put a smile on my face.

"Thanks Oliver!"

After I finished drying off and changing into my uniform, I dried my hair and put it into a half-up half-down style. I didn't know if we'd be doing anything active today or not, so I figured meeting in the middle would be the safest option. Plus, if I need to, I can pull it all into a low ponytail easily, which would make an even cooler look.

I decided to put on a little bit of makeup, nothing fancy, and probably unnoticeable; but it would cover the obvious lack of sleep I have going on.

Now what shoes? My purple converse should do.

"Miss, it might be wise to bring running shoes. It is a hero 'training' school after all."

"Good idea."

_____________

Making my way downstairs to the kitchen bar with a pair of running shoes in one hand and my phone in the other. I set the shoes next to my backpack and sat at the bar as a heaping plate of eggs, bacon and toast were presented in front of me with a glass of orange juice. I dug in and practically inhaled it all. I moved to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, and grabbed my bag after putting my shoes in it, phone, student I.D, and walked to the garage.

I thought I was nervous leading up to the moment, but now I'm questioning whether or not eating breakfast was a good idea. My nerves are bubbling in my stomach!

I took a deep breath, "It's going to be okay. Everything is fine. Kids much younger than you go to school every single day. I have nothing to be worried about."

My butterflies don't think I'm very convincing.

_____________

After several stops and a 5 minute walk, the pristine glass walls of UA high school came into view. I almost lost my breath, but continued walking.
